2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the timer.
2. Open the battery cover.
3. Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely.

2.2 Placement

The timer can be placed on any flat surface, such as a kitchen counter, desk, or classroom table. Its non-slip silicone pads ensure stability during use.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Setting the Time (Countdown)

1. Ensure the timer is in countdown mode (indicated by a downward arrow on the display). If not, press the top button briefly to switch modes.
2. Rotate the top section of the timer clockwise to increase the time or counter-clockwise to decrease it.
3. Rotate slowly for second adjustments and faster for minute adjustments. The timer adjusts in 5-second increments.
4. The maximum countdown time is 199 minutes and 55 seconds.
5. Once the desired time is set, press the top button briefly to start the countdown.

3.2 Using as a Stopwatch (Countup)

1. Ensure the timer is in countup mode (indicated by an upward arrow on the display). If not, press the top button briefly to switch modes.
2. With the display showing "00:00", press the top button briefly to start the countup.
3. The maximum countup time is 199 minutes and 59 seconds.

3.3 Starting, Stopping, and Resetting

• Start/Pause: Press the top button briefly to start or pause the timer.
• Reset: To reset the timer to "00:00", press and hold the top button for 3 seconds.

3.4 Adjusting Volume

The timer offers three volume settings: Loud (80-90dB), Soft (60-75dB), and Mute. A switch on the bottom of the timer allows you to select the desired volume level.

Note: When set to Loud or Soft, the timer will emit a beep sound during time setting. Slide the switch to Mute if silent operation is preferred during setting.

3.5 Adjusting Brightness

The timer has two brightness levels: Bright and ECO. The ECO mode is recommended for extended battery life, especially during nighttime use. A switch on the bottom of the timer controls the brightness setting.
