6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the cart's surfaces with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the materials.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all moving parts, wheels, and locking mechanisms for proper function and signs of wear. Ensure all connections are secure.
  • Storage: Store the folded cart in a dry, protected area away from extreme temperatures.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Cart Does Not Unfold/Fold Smoothly

  • Issue: The cart feels stiff or resists unfolding/folding.
  • Solution: Ensure the central locking handle is fully disengaged (pulled up) when folding, and fully engaged (pushed down) when unfolding. Check for any obstructions or debris in the folding mechanism.

7.2 Wheels Not Rolling Freely

  • Issue: Wheels are difficult to roll or get stuck.
  • Solution: Check if the wheel brakes are engaged. Clear any debris (hair, string, etc.) from around the wheel axles. If wheels are still stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to the axle points.

7.3 Cart Feels Unstable

  • Issue: The cart wobbles or feels unsteady during use.
  • Solution: Verify that the cart is fully unfolded and the central locking handle on the top shelf is securely pushed down and engaged. Ensure weight is distributed evenly and not exceeding capacity.
