What's Included
Your Braun CH3012BK EasyPrep™ Mini Food Processor comes with the following components:

Setup
- Place the 4-cup bowl onto a stable, flat surface. The anti-slip base will help keep it secure.
- Carefully place the QuadBlade™ chopping blade onto the central pin inside the bowl. Ensure it sits firmly.
- Add your ingredients to the bowl. Do not overfill beyond the maximum fill line.
- Place the lid onto the bowl, aligning the tabs on the lid with the grooves on the bowl. Twist clockwise until it locks securely.
- Position the motor unit on top of the lid, ensuring the star-shaped drive shaft aligns with the opening in the lid.
- Plug the appliance into a power outlet.

Operating Instructions
The Braun EasyPrep™ Mini Food Processor features a simple one-push control with two speed settings.
General Operation (Chop, Mince, Puree, Ice Crush)
- With the appliance assembled and plugged in, place your hand firmly on top of the motor unit.
- To activate Speed 1 (lower speed, ideal for coarse chopping), press the top of the motor unit down halfway.
- To activate Speed 2 (higher speed, ideal for fine chopping, pureeing, and ice crushing), press the top of the motor unit down completely.
- Use short pulses for coarse chopping or hold down for continuous processing until desired consistency is achieved.

QuadBlade™ Technology
The unique QuadBlade™ design with four layered blades allows for fast and precise food chopping, processing up to 25% more ingredients compared to dual-blade systems. This ensures efficient and even results throughout the bowl.

Making Mayonnaise and Aioli Sauce
To make mayonnaise or aioli, use the oil dispenser attachment. This attachment fits into the lid and allows oil to slowly drip into the mixture while the blades are emulsifying, ensuring a smooth and consistent result.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your food processor.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- The bowl, lid, and chopping blade are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended).
- Alternatively, these parts can be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
- Use the included spatula to safely remove processed food from the bowl and around the blades.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Braun EasyPrep™ Mini Food Processor, please refer to the following general tips:
- Appliance not turning on: Ensure the motor unit is correctly seated on the lid and the appliance is securely plugged into a working power outlet.
- Uneven chopping: For best results, ensure ingredients are cut into similar-sized pieces before processing. Use short pulses and shake the bowl gently if needed to redistribute ingredients.
- Overheating: If the motor unit feels hot or stops working, unplug it and allow it to cool down for at least 15-20 minutes before attempting to use it again. Do not continuously operate for extended periods.
