Setup Instructions

1. Initial Setup

  1. Charge the Parent Unit: Connect the parent unit to a power outlet using one of the provided power adapters. Charge it fully before first use.
  2. Power the Camera Unit: Connect the camera unit to a power outlet using the other power adapter. The camera will power on automatically.
  3. Position the Camera: Place the camera in a location that provides a clear view of your baby. Ensure it is out of reach of children and away from any potential hazards. The camera can be placed on a flat surface or wall-mounted using the included screws.

2. Pairing the Camera and Monitor

Your monitor and camera are pre-paired at the factory. If the connection is lost or if you are adding a new camera, follow these steps:

  1. On the parent unit, press the Menu/OK button to open the menu.
  2. Navigate to the Camera icon and press OK.
  3. Select Camera Registration (often represented by a camera icon with a '+' sign) and press OK.
  4. The monitor will display a 'Pair' message and a countdown. Within this time, press the Pair button located on the back or bottom of the camera unit.
  5. Once successfully paired, the screen will display the camera's video feed.

1. Parent Unit Controls

The parent unit features a user-friendly interface with dedicated buttons for various functions:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn the unit ON/OFF. Press briefly to turn the screen ON/OFF while audio continues.
  • Menu/OK Button: Access the main menu or confirm a selection.
  • Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Navigate through menu options and control camera pan/tilt.
  • Zoom Button: Magnify the camera view (2X digital zoom).
  • Talk Button: Press and hold to speak to your baby through the camera's speaker.

2. Remote Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ)

  • While viewing the live feed, use the Navigation Buttons on the parent unit to remotely adjust the camera's viewing angle.
  • Press the Zoom Button to digitally zoom in or out on the image.

3. VOX Mode (Voice Operated Exchange)

VOX mode activates the screen upon detecting sound.

  • Activate VOX mode through the menu to conserve battery.
  • In VOX mode, the screen will turn off, but audio monitoring continues. The screen will automatically turn on when the camera detects a sound exceeding the set sensitivity level.
  • Adjust VOX sensitivity in the menu settings to suit your environment.

4. Two-Way Talk

  • Press and hold the Talk Button on the parent unit to speak to your baby. Release the button to hear your baby again.

5. Lullabies

  • Access the Lullaby option in the menu to select and play one of the 8 built-in lullabies.
  • You can set a timer for how long the lullaby plays.

6. Temperature Monitoring

  • The current room temperature is displayed on the parent unit screen.
  • Set temperature alerts in the menu to be notified if the room temperature goes above or below your desired range.

7. Feeding Timer

  • Use the Feeding Timer option in the menu to set reminders for feeding schedules.

8. Multi-Camera View
