4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the provided lithium-ion battery, ensuring the correct polarity.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2. SD Card Installation

The camera requires an SD card (up to 128GB, not included) for storing recordings.

  1. Locate the SD card slot, usually near the battery compartment or under the LCD screen.
  2. Insert the SD card gently until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, press the card inward until it springs out.

4.3. Charging the Battery

Connect the camera to a power source using the provided USB cable. The charging indicator light will show the charging status. It is recommended to fully charge the batteries before first use.

5.1. Power On/Off

Open the LCD screen to automatically power on the camera. Close the LCD screen to power off.

5.2. Basic Recording (Video/Photo)

  • To Record Video: Press the Record button (often red) to start recording. Press it again to stop.
  • To Take Photos: Press the Photo button (often green) to capture a still image.

5.3. Zoom Functionality

5.5. IR Night Vision

Activate the IR Night Vision mode to record in dark environments. The camera uses infrared lights to capture clear black and white footage.
