Setup

1. Insert Battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged. Slide a compatible Bosch 18V battery into the battery slot at the base of the glue gun until it clicks into place.
2. Insert Glue Stick: Insert an 11 mm diameter glue stick into the opening at the rear of the glue gun. Push it gently until it stops.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the power button (usually located near the battery) to turn on the glue gun. An indicator light will illuminate.
2. Select Temperature: The AdvancedGlue 18V features a dual-temperature mode.
   • 200 °C: For strong bonds and materials resistant to heat.
   • 130 °C: For heat-sensitive materials.
   Refer to the diagram below for temperature selection.
3. Heating Time: The glue gun heats up and is ready for use in approximately 90 seconds. The indicator light will change or stop flashing when the desired temperature is reached.
4. Apply Glue: Once heated, gently press the trigger to dispense melted glue from the nozzle. The extra-long nozzle provides improved visibility for precise application, even in tight spaces.
5. Auto-Off Function: The intelligent auto-off technology automatically switches off the glue gun after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy and enhance safety.
6. Power Off: When finished, press the power button again to turn off the device. Remove the battery if storing for an extended period.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Ensure the glue gun is unplugged (battery removed) and completely cool before cleaning. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Nozzle Care: Do not attempt to clean the nozzle while hot. Any dried glue around the nozzle can be carefully removed once the tool is cool.
• Storage: Store the glue gun in a dry, safe place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure no glue sticks are left protruding from the rear if storing for long periods.
