2. Safety Information
- Always ensure the base is properly filled with sand or water (mixed with antifreeze in cold climates) for maximum stability before use.
- Do not hang on the rim or backboard, as this may cause injury or damage to the system.
- Regularly inspect all components for wear, damage, or loose fasteners. Tighten as necessary.
- Keep children away from the system during assembly and adjustment.
- Position the system on a flat, stable surface.
3. Assembly and Setup
The FORZA JS305 system is designed for straightforward assembly. Follow these general guidelines:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and verify against the parts list (not provided in this manual, refer to your product packaging).
- Assemble the Base: Connect the base components as per the manufacturer's instructions.
- Fill the Base for Stability: The base must be filled to ensure stability. It is recommended to use sand for optimal weight. Alternatively, water can be used, but it MUST be mixed with antifreeze if temperatures may drop below freezing to prevent damage to the base.

5. Maintenance
- Regular Cleaning: Clean the backboard and pole with a mild soap and water solution. Avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish.
- Check Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and screws to ensure they are tight. Loose fasteners can compromise stability and safety.
- Base Content: If using water in the base, ensure antifreeze is mixed in during colder months to prevent freezing and potential cracking of the base. Regularly check the fill level.
- Storage: For prolonged periods of non-use or during extreme weather, it is recommended to lower the hoop to its lowest setting and store it in a sheltered area if possible.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your FORZA basketball hoop system, consider the following:
- Instability: Ensure the base is completely filled with sand or water. Check that the pole is securely attached to the base and all connecting bolts are tightened.
- Difficulty Adjusting Height: Verify that the adjustment mechanism is free of debris and lubricated if necessary. Ensure the locking pin or knob is fully disengaged before attempting to adjust.
- Damaged Components: If any part of the system is damaged, cease use immediately and contact customer support for replacement parts. Do not attempt to repair damaged structural components yourself.
