1. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions carefully before operating the appliance.
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- This appliance cooks under pressure. Improper use may result in scalding injury. Make certain unit is properly closed before operating.
- Never force open the pressure cooker. Ensure internal pressure is completely released before opening.
- Do not fill the unit over 2/3 full. When cooking foods that expand during cooking, such as rice or dried vegetables, do not fill the unit over 1/2 full.
- Always check the pressure release valve and float valve for clogging before use.

The Sencor SPR 3600WH Electric Pressure Cooker consists of the following main components:
- Main Unit: Houses the heating element and control panel.

2.2 Control Panel

The control panel features a digital display and various buttons for operation:
- Display: Shows cooking time, temperature, and program status.
- Preset Programs: Icons for 14 different cooking functions (e.g., Fry, Stew, Meat, Fish, Rice, Bread, Pasta, Vegetables, Slow Cook, Yoghurt, Desserts, Oven, Cake, Steam).
- Preset Button: Selects preset cooking programs.
- +/- Buttons: Adjust time, temperature, or other settings.
- Texture Button: Adjusts cooking texture (e.g., Light, Standard, Strong for some programs).
- Manual Button: For custom cooking settings.
- Keep Warm/Cancel Button: To cancel a program or activate/deactivate the keep warm function.
- Start Button: Initiates the selected cooking program.
- Menu Knob: Used to navigate through options and confirm selections.
3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the pressure cooker for any damage. Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.

3.2 Initial Cleaning
- Wash the inner pot, lid (including the sealing ring and valves), and all accessories with warm, soapy water.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts completely.
- Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water.
3.3 Assembly
- Place the inner pot into the main unit. Ensure it sits correctly and is level.
- Check that the sealing ring is properly seated inside the lid.
- Ensure the pressure release valve and float valve are clear and free of debris.
- Place the lid onto the main unit, aligning the arrow on the lid with the unlock symbol on the cooker body. Rotate clockwise until it locks into place, aligning with the lock symbol.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Operation
- Prepare Ingredients: Place desired ingredients and liquid into the inner pot. Do not exceed the MAX fill line (2/3 full for most foods, 1/2 full for expanding foods).
- Close Lid: Securely close the lid as described in Section 3.3. Ensure the pressure release valve is set to the "Sealing" position.
- Plug In: Connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
- Select Program:
- Preset Programs: Press the "Preset" button repeatedly or use the "Menu" knob to cycle through the 14 available programs (e.g., Fry, Stew, Meat, Fish, Rice, Bread, Pasta, Vegetables, Slow Cook, Yoghurt, Desserts, Oven, Cake, Steam). The selected program icon will light up.
- Adjust Settings (if applicable): For some programs, you can adjust cooking time using the "+/-" buttons or texture (Light, Standard, Strong) using the "Texture" button.
- Manual Mode: Press the "Manual" button to set custom cooking time and temperature. Use the "+/-" buttons to adjust values.
- Start Cooking: Press the "Start" button to begin the cooking process. The cooker will preheat, build pressure, and then begin the countdown.
- Pressure Release: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will beep and automatically switch to "Keep Warm" mode. To release pressure:
- Natural Release: Allow the pressure to dissipate naturally. This is recommended for foamy foods or large cuts of meat. The float valve will drop when pressure is released.
- Quick Release: Carefully turn the pressure release valve to the "Venting" position. Caution: Hot steam will be released. Keep hands and face away from the valve.
- Open Lid: Once the float valve has dropped, indicating all pressure is released, rotate the lid counter-clockwise and lift it carefully away from your face.
4.2 Using Preset Programs
The Sencor SPR 3600WH offers 14 preset programs for various dishes. Each program has optimized default settings, which can often be adjusted.

Examples of cooking with preset programs:
- Pasta: Select the "Pasta" program. Add pasta and water according to recipe. The cooker will automatically set the appropriate pressure and time.
- Stew: Use the "Stew" program for tender meats and vegetables.
- Steam: Place food on the steamer basket with water below. Select "Steam" for healthy cooking of vegetables or fish.

4.3 Keep Warm Function
After cooking, the appliance automatically enters "Keep Warm" mode to maintain food temperature. Press the "Keep Warm/Cancel" button to exit this mode.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your pressure cooker.
5.1 Cleaning the Inner Pot and Accessories
- After each use, allow the inner pot to cool completely.
- Wash the inner pot and accessories with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
- Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing.
- The inner pot is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the non-stick coating.
5.2 Cleaning the Lid
- Remove the sealing ring from the lid for thorough cleaning. Wash it with warm, soapy water.
- Clean the pressure release valve and float valve to ensure they are free of food particles. Use a small brush if necessary.
- Wipe the lid with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the lid in water.
- Ensure all lid components are dry before reassembling.
5.3 Cleaning the Main Unit
- Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool.
- Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
- Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
6. Troubleshooting
