Product Overview

The Mayflash Magic-S Ultimate is an advanced wireless Bluetooth USB adapter designed to enhance your gaming experience across multiple platforms. It allows you to use a wide range of Bluetooth and wired USB controllers on various consoles and operating systems, including PS4, PS3, Nintendo Switch/Switch OLED, PS Classic Mini, SEGA Genesis Mini, SEGA Mega Drive Mini, NEO GEO mini, SNK NEO GEO Arcade Stick PRO, SEGA Astro City Mini, macOS, Windows, and Raspberry Pi.

This adapter supports key features such as 6-axis motion (gyroscope) on PS4 and Switch, rumble feedback on PS4, Switch, X-input, and PS3, and adjustable vibration intensity and dead zone. It also supports Bluetooth headsets in PS4 and Switch modes, offering both A2DP and HFP connections where applicable.

Setup and Connection

Adapter Components

1. Connect the Adapter: Plug the USB A-Male end of the Magic-S Ultimate adapter into an available USB port on your gaming console or computer. For Nintendo Switch Lite, an OTG cable (included) is required to connect the adapter.

2. Wired Controller Connection: If using a wired USB controller, connect it to the USB A-Female port on the Magic-S Ultimate adapter.
3. Bluetooth Controller Pairing:
   1. Ensure the adapter is plugged into your console/PC.
   2. Press the button on the side of the Magic-S Ultimate adapter to enter pairing mode. The LED indicator will flash.
   3. Put your Bluetooth controller into pairing mode (refer to your controller's manual for specific instructions).
   4. The LED on the adapter will become solid when successfully paired.

Operating Instructions

LED Indicator Modes

The Magic-S Ultimate adapter uses a multi-color LED indicator to show its current working mode. To change modes, hold the button on the side of the adapter for 3-5 seconds.

• Purple LED: PS4/macOS Mode
• Red LED: Switch Mode (Note: Does not support 6-axis motion and vibration in this mode. Use Switch Pro mode for these features.)
• Blue LED: Switch Pro Mode
• Green LED: Xinput Mode
• Yellow LED: PS3/Dinput Mode
• Light Blue LED: PS Classic Mode
• White LED: SEGA/NEOGEO Mode

Audio Connections (PS4 Mode)

• HFP (Audio and Chatting): Press and hold the START + X/☐ button on your controller.
• A2DP (High Quality Audio Signals): Press and hold the START + Y/△ button on your controller.

Note: Switch mode only supports A2DP connection.

Remapping Buttons

Vibration Intensity and Dead Zone Adjustment

Important Notes and Warnings

• Always update to the latest firmware before use for optimal performance and compatibility.
• It is recommended to use original Switch, genuine Xbox, or PlayStation controllers and quality certified USB cables.
• Only one Bluetooth controller is supported per adapter. To connect multiple controllers, use multiple adapters with a USB HUB (not included).
• A wired USB controller and a wireless Bluetooth controller can be connected simultaneously, but they will have the same functions and control only one game character.
• Connecting a standard USB cable to a wireless controller from your console will make it function as a wired controller.
• The adapter does NOT support wired/wireless Xbox 360 controllers.
• For Nintendo Switch, ensure "Setting > Controller and Sensor > Pro Controller Wired Communication" is set to "ON".
• The product supports Switch 2 but is NOT compatible with Joy-Con 2 and Pro 2 Controllers.
• This is NOT an official product.

Troubleshooting

• Controller Not Connecting/Pairing:
  • Ensure the adapter is firmly plugged into the console/PC.
  • Verify the adapter's LED is flashing, indicating pairing mode.
  • Ensure your controller is in its proper pairing mode.
  • Try restarting both the console/PC and the controller.
  • Update the adapter's firmware to the latest version.
• No 6-axis Motion or Vibration on Switch:
  • Ensure the adapter is in "Switch Pro Mode" (Blue LED). The standard "Switch Mode" (Red LED) does not support these features.
  • On Nintendo Switch, go to "System Settings" > "Controllers and Sensors" and ensure "Pro Controller Wired Communication" is set to "ON".
• Audio Issues (PS4 Mode):
  • Confirm you are in PS4 mode (Purple LED).
  • Ensure you are using the correct button combination for HFP (START + X/☐) or A2DP (START + Y/△) connections.
  • Check your headset's connection and settings.
• Lag or Input Delay:
  • The adapter is designed to be lag-free. Ensure there are no other strong wireless interferences nearby.
  • Verify that your controller's battery is sufficiently charged.
  • Update the adapter's firmware.
