3. Setup

3.1 Charging the Controller

Before first use, fully charge the controller using the provided Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the controller's Type-C port and a compatible USB power source. The LED indicator will show charging status.

3.3 Bluetooth Connection

The controller offers different boot modes for various operating systems to ensure optimal compatibility. Refer to the table below for specific instructions.

3.3.1 iOS Connection

1. Press and hold the 'B' button and the 'Home' button simultaneously for 2 seconds until the LED 3 light flashes quickly.
2. On your iOS device, go to Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for and select 'DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller' from the available devices.
4. Once connected, the LED 3 light on the controller will remain solid.

3.3.2 Android Connection

There are two boot modes for Android, depending on the game:

• Standard Android (D3 mode): Press and hold the 'X' button and the 'Home' button simultaneously for 2 seconds until the LED 2 light flashes quickly. Search for 'D3' in your device's Bluetooth settings.
• Specific Games (Xbox Wireless Controller mode): For games like Call of Duty Mobile, Apex Legends, and Honkai Impact 3rd, press and hold the 'RB' button and the 'Home' button simultaneously for 2 seconds. The LED 1 light will flash quickly. Search for 'Xbox Wireless Controller' in your device's Bluetooth settings.

3.3.3 PC Connection

For PC connection (Windows 7 or higher), a Bluetooth 4.2 or higher receiver is required.

1. Press and hold the 'RB' button and the 'Home' button simultaneously for 2 seconds until the LED 1 and LED 2 lights flash quickly.
2. On your PC, go to Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for and select 'Xbox Wireless Controller' from the available devices.
4. Once connected, the LED 1 and LED 2 lights on the controller will remain solid.

4.4 Key Mapping (Android Specific)

For Android devices, you may need to use the 'ShootingPlus V3' app for key mapping, especially if the game does not natively support controllers. Ensure the app shows 'D3 Connected'.

1. Open the 'ShootingPlus V3' app. Verify that 'D3 Connected' is displayed. Do not close the app; minimize it and launch your game.
2. In the game interface, press the 'START' key on the gamepad. Press 'New' to assign key layouts.
3. Press any button on the gamepad; a reflection key will appear on the screen. Drag it to match the corresponding function button in the game. To delete a reflection key, drag it to 'DELETE'.
4. Repeat for all desired buttons. Once all buttons are set, press 'Save' to store your settings.
