1. Introduction

2. What's in the Box

Verify that all components are present upon unboxing:

• OLIGHT Perun 2 Mini Headlamp (Black Cool White: 5700K~6700K)
• Battery (1 Lithium Metal battery, included)
• Charging Cable (MCC 1A Magnetic Charging Cable)
• Head Band
• Headlamp Base x 1
• Perun 2 Mini Pocket Clip x 1

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Battery Preparation

Before first use, ensure the insulating film is removed from the battery. Unscrew the tail cap of the headlamp, remove the yellow insulating film, and then re-tighten the tail cap securely.

3.2 Charging the Headlamp

The Perun 2 Mini uses a magnetic charging cable (MCC 1A). Attach the magnetic end of the charging cable to the tail cap of the headlamp. The indicator light on the charging cable will illuminate red during charging and turn green when fully charged.

3.3 Attaching to Headband or Clip

The headlamp can be used handheld, attached to the included pocket clip, or mounted on the headband base for headlamp functionality.

• Headband Use: Insert the headlamp into the silicone headlamp base. The base allows for 180-degree multi-angle lighting adjustment. Secure the base to the elastic headband.
• Pocket Clip Use: Attach the pocket clip to the body of the headlamp. This allows for attachment to backpacks, belts, or other gear.
• Magnetic Attachment: The magnetic tail cap allows the headlamp to be securely attached to any iron surface for hands-free work light use.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the side switch once to turn the headlamp ON/OFF.

4.2 Changing Brightness Levels (White Light)

When the headlamp is ON, press and hold the side switch to cycle through the brightness levels: Moonlight, Low, Medium, High. Release the switch to select the desired brightness.

• Moonlight Mode: Provides 2 lumens for up to 10 days, ideal for maintaining night vision.
• Turbo Mode: Double-press the side switch quickly from any white light mode to activate Turbo mode (1,100 lumens). Double-press again to return to the previous mode.

4.3 Red Light Option

The Perun 2 Mini includes a red LED. This can be used to maintain night vision or as an emergency warning signal.

4.4 Power Indicator

The headlamp features a tri-color power indicator to display the remaining battery level:

• Green: Battery level > 60%
• Orange: Battery level 60% - 10%
• Red: Battery level 10% - 5%
• Flashing Red: Battery level < 5% (recharge immediately)

6. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your OLIGHT Perun 2 Mini Headlamp, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp with a clean, soft cloth. For stubborn dirt, use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Care: Recharge the battery regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health. Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
• Thread Lubrication: Periodically apply a thin layer of silicone grease to the O-rings and threads to maintain waterproof sealing and smooth operation.
• Avoid Disassembly: Do not attempt to disassemble the headlamp as this may void the warranty and cause damage.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Perun 2 Mini Headlamp, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Headlamp Not Turning On:
  • Ensure the battery's insulating film has been removed.
  • Check if the tail cap is fully tightened. A loose tail cap can prevent electrical contact.
  • Verify the battery is charged. Connect the headlamp to the charging cable and check the indicator light.
• Light Output is Low or Flickering:
  • The battery may be low. Recharge the headlamp.
  • Clean the contact points on the battery and inside the headlamp with a clean, dry cloth.
• Magnetic Charging Not Working:
  • Ensure the magnetic charging cable is properly aligned and securely attached to the tail cap.
  • Check if the charging cable is connected to a working USB power source.
