Setup

Follow these steps to set up your heat lamp:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the unit for any shipping damage.
2. Placement: Position the heat lamp on a stable, dry, and heat-resistant countertop surface. Ensure the base is compatible with a full-size food pan if intended for use with one.
3. Bulb Installation: Screw the provided 250W shatterproof bulb into the lamp socket. Ensure it is securely tightened.
4. Adjust Height: The unit features an adjustable height design. Loosen the adjustment knob or mechanism on the vertical support to raise or lower the lamp head to the desired height (ranging from 25-3/16" to 31-1/8"). Tighten the knob securely once the desired height is achieved. This adjustment controls the heat intensity on the food below.
5. Power Connection: Plug the NEMA 5-15P plug into a standard 120V grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Operating your Kratos heat lamp is straightforward:

1. Power On: Locate the on/off toggle switch, typically located on the vertical support or base. Flip the switch to the 'ON' position. The bulb will illuminate, and the lamp will begin to generate heat.
2. Food Placement: Place the food item(s) you wish to keep warm directly beneath the heat lamp.
3. Adjust Heat Intensity: If the food is drying out too quickly or not staying warm enough, adjust the height of the lamp head (as described in the Setup section). Lowering the lamp increases heat intensity, while raising it decreases intensity.
4. Power Off: When finished, flip the toggle switch to the 'OFF' position. Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet when not in use for extended periods.

Cleaning
