4. Setup and Installation

The DCCStands Pax A35 stand offers two primary mounting options: screw-down for permanent installation or an adhesive pad for less permanent placement. Follow these steps for installation:

4.1. Attaching the Terminal to the Holder

1. Identify the mounting hole on the back of your PAX A35 terminal.
2. Align the terminal with the stand's back plate, ensuring the screw hole matches.
3. Insert the provided locking screw into the terminal's mounting hole and secure it to the back plate using a screwdriver. Do not overtighten.

4.2. Securing the Stand to a Surface

Choose between screw mounting for maximum security or the adhesive pad for flexibility.

Option A: Screw Mounting

1. Position the stand on your desired surface.
2. Mark the locations for the mounting screws through the holes in the stand's base.
3. Drill pilot holes if necessary, then secure the stand to the surface using the provided screws.

Option B: Adhesive Pad Mounting

1. Clean and dry the desired mounting surface thoroughly.
2. Peel the backing from the adhesive glue pad and firmly press the stand onto the surface.
3. Apply pressure for at least 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond. Allow 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before heavy use.
