Troubleshooting
Controller Not Connecting/Pairing:
- Ensure the controller is charged. Connect it via USB cable to the PS4 and press the PS button.
- If issues persist, try resetting the controller. Locate the small reset button on the back of the controller (often near the L2 button or a screw hole). Use a thin tool (like a straightened paperclip) to press and hold the button for 3-5 seconds. Then, attempt to pair again.
- Ensure there are no other Bluetooth devices causing interference.
Buttons Unresponsive or Lagging:
- Check the controller's battery level. Low battery can affect performance. Charge the controller fully.
- Ensure the controller is within the effective wireless range (approximately 8 meters).
- Reset the controller as described above.
Joystick Sensitivity Issues:
- Ensure the controller is fully charged. Low battery can sometimes affect joystick responsiveness.
- If the joystick feels unresponsive or has a noticeable deadzone, try recalibrating it if your console or game settings allow.
Programmable Back Buttons Not Working:
- Review the programming instructions in the 'Operating Instructions' section carefully. Ensure you are pressing the Macro button, then M1/M2, then the desired button(s), and finally M1/M2 again to save. Do not hold the Macro button for 2 seconds as some older manuals might suggest.
