3. Product Overview
3.1. Transmitter (TX)
The transmitter unit captures audio via its built-in microphone or an external lavalier microphone and sends it wirelessly to the receiver.

- Built-in Microphone: Omnidirectional microphone for direct audio capture.
- 3.5mm MIC Input: Connects external lavalier microphones.
- Power/Mute Button: Long press to power on/off, short press to mute/unmute.
- Noise Reduction Button: Activates/deactivates noise reduction.
- USB-C Charging Port: For charging the unit.
- TFT Display: Shows battery status, audio level, connection status, and gain.
3.2. Receiver (RX)
The receiver unit receives audio signals from the transmitters and outputs them to your recording device.
- 3.5mm Audio Output: Connects to cameras, smartphones, or laptops.
- 3.5mm Headphone Output: For real-time audio monitoring.
- Power/Mode Button: Long press to power on/off, short press to switch between Mono/Stereo/Safety modes.
- Gain Control Buttons (+/-): Adjusts audio output gain.
- Low-Cut Filter Button: Activates/deactivates the low-cut filter.
- USB-C Charging Port: For charging the unit.
- TFT Display: Shows battery status, audio levels for both TX units, recording mode, and gain.
4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Devices
Before first use, fully charge the transmitter(s) and receiver. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours and provides up to 8 hours of working time.

- Connect the 3-in-1 USB charging cable to the USB-C ports on the transmitter(s) and receiver.
- Connect the other end of the USB charging cable to a 5V/1A USB power adapter (not included) or a power bank.
- The battery indicator on the TFT display will show charging status. It will indicate full when charging is complete.
4.2. Pairing
The transmitter(s) and receiver are pre-paired at the factory. If pairing is lost or you need to re-pair, follow these steps:
- Power on both the transmitter(s) and the receiver.
- The units should automatically connect. The display on both units will show a connected icon.
- If they do not connect, refer to the troubleshooting section or consult the full manual for manual pairing instructions (if applicable).
4.3. Connecting to Recording Devices
The MOMAN C2X system is compatible with various devices.

4.3.1. Connecting to Cameras/Camcorders
- Use the provided 3.5mm TRS Camera Cable.
- Connect one end of the cable to the 3.5mm Audio Output port on the receiver.
- Connect the other end to the microphone input port on your camera or camcorder.
- Ensure your camera's audio input settings are configured correctly (e.g., external microphone selected).
4.3.2. Connecting to Smartphones/Tablets
- Use the provided 3.5mm TRRS Phone Cable.
- Connect one end of the cable to the 3.5mm Audio Output port on the receiver.
- Connect the other end to the 3.5mm headphone/microphone jack on your smartphone or tablet.
- For devices without a 3.5mm jack (e.g., newer iPhones, USB-C Android phones), you may need an additional adapter (Lightning to 3.5mm or USB-C to 3.5mm, not included).
- Ensure your recording app recognizes the external microphone.
4.3.3. Connecting to Laptops/Computers
- Use the provided 3.5mm TRS Camera Cable or 3.5mm TRRS Phone Cable depending on your laptop's input jack.
- Connect one end to the 3.5mm Audio Output port on the receiver.
- Connect the other end to the microphone input port on your laptop/computer.
- Adjust audio input settings in your operating system or recording software.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Long press the Power button on both the transmitter(s) and receiver until the display lights up.
- To Power Off: Long press the Power button on both the transmitter(s) and receiver until the display turns off.
5.2. Mono/Stereo/Safety Mode Selection (Receiver)
The receiver supports three output modes:
- Mono Mode: Combines audio from both transmitters into a single mono track. Useful for single-channel recording or when only one transmitter is used.
- Stereo Mode: Outputs audio from each transmitter to separate left and right channels. Ideal for post-production flexibility.
- Safety Mode: Outputs audio from both transmitters to the left channel, and a -6dB attenuated version of the combined audio to the right channel. This provides a safety track in case the main audio clips.
To switch modes, short press the Power/Mode button on the receiver. The current mode will be displayed on the TFT screen.
5.3. Gain Adjustment (Receiver)
Adjust the output gain of the receiver to match the input level of your recording device and prevent clipping.

- Use the + and - buttons on the receiver to increase or decrease the gain level.
- The gain can be adjusted from 0 to 5 levels.
- Monitor the audio levels on your recording device or via the receiver's headphone output to ensure optimal recording levels.
5.4. Low-Cut Filter (Receiver)
The 150Hz low-cut filter helps to reduce unwanted low-frequency noises such as wind, air conditioning hum, or traffic noise.
- Press the Low-Cut Filter button on the receiver to activate or deactivate the filter.
- An icon on the TFT display will indicate when the low-cut filter is active.
5.5. Mute Function (Transmitter)
Quickly mute the transmitter's audio output without powering off the unit.
- Short press the Mute button on the transmitter to mute the microphone.
- Press it again to unmute.
- A mute icon will appear on the transmitter's TFT display when muted.
5.6. Real-Time Monitoring (Receiver)
Monitor your audio in real-time to ensure proper recording levels and sound quality.
- Connect a 3.5mm headphone to the 3.5mm Headphone Output port on the receiver.
- Listen to the audio being captured by the transmitters.
5.7. One-Button Noise Reduction (Transmitter)
The transmitter features a noise reduction function to minimize ambient background noise.

- Press the Noise Reduction button on the transmitter to activate or deactivate this feature.
- Use this feature in noisy environments to improve vocal clarity.
6. Maintenance
- Keep the devices dry. Do not expose them to rain or moisture.
- Store the system in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Clean the units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the devices to strong impacts.
- Regularly check cables for wear and tear. Replace damaged cables immediately.
