1.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection

1.2 Power On and Initial Configuration
- Connect the power adapter to the laptop and a power outlet.
- Open the laptop lid. The laptop may power on automatically, or you may need to press the power button located on the top right of the keyboard.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the initial Windows 11 Home setup. This includes selecting your region, language, and connecting to a Wi-Fi network.
1.3 Operating System: Windows 11 Home in S Mode
This laptop comes pre-installed with Windows 11 Home in S mode. S mode is a version of Windows that is streamlined for security and performance, exclusively running apps from the Microsoft Store. If you require applications outside the Microsoft Store, you can switch out of S mode to standard Windows 11 Home. This is a one-way switch and cannot be reversed.

1.4 Microsoft Office 365 Personal Activation
Your laptop includes a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal. Follow the on-screen prompts or visit the Microsoft Office website to activate your subscription using the provided product key or account details.

This computer has been resealed to upgrade the Memory/SSD. A three-year warranty is provided by Issaquah Highlands Tech for the upgraded Memory/SSD components. A one-year warranty from the original manufacturer covers the remaining components of the laptop.
