Setup

  1. Attaching the Lens:

    Align the mounting mark on the lens with the mounting mark on your Nikon Z series camera body. Rotate the lens counter-clockwise until it clicks into place. Ensure it is securely fastened.

  2. Removing Lens Caps:

    Remove the front (LC-67B) and rear (LF-N1) lens caps before use. Store them safely to prevent loss or damage.

  3. Attaching the Lens Hood (HB-107):

    Align the lens hood's mounting mark with the mark on the front of the lens. Rotate the hood clockwise until it clicks into place. The lens hood helps to reduce flare and protect the front element.

Operating Instructions

  1. Zooming:

    Rotate the zoom ring to adjust the focal length between 17mm and 28mm. The internal zoom design ensures the lens length does not change during zooming.

    The lens supports both autofocus (AF) and manual focus (MF). Select your desired focus mode on your camera body. For manual focus, rotate the focus ring until your subject is sharp.
