Setup

1. Charging the Headphones

   Before first use, fully charge your BuddyPhones POP Fun headphones. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the charging port on the headphone earcup and the other end to a compatible USB power source. The LED indicator will show charging status.

2. Bluetooth Pairing

   • Ensure the headphones are powered off.
   • Press and hold the multi-function button (power button) for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes blue and red, indicating pairing mode.
   • On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for "BuddyPhones POP Fun".
   • Select the headphones from the list to connect. The LED indicator will turn solid blue once successfully paired.

3. Wired Connection

   For wired use, or when the battery is low, connect the provided 3.5mm audio cable to the audio jack on the headphone earcup and the other end to your audio device's headphone port. The headphones will automatically switch to wired mode.

4. Customizing with Stickers

   Personalize your headphones using the included expressive foil decals. Carefully peel a sticker from its sheet and apply it to the designated area on the outer earcup. Ensure the surface is clean and dry for best adhesion.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

   • To power on: Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds.
   • To power off: Press and hold the multi-function button for 3 seconds.

2. Volume Control (SafeAudio Modes)

   The BuddyPhones POP Fun features SafeAudio technology with two volume limiting modes:

   • SafeMode (85dB): Default setting, suitable for general listening.
   • PopMode (94dB): Slightly higher volume limit for noisier environments.

   To switch between modes, quickly click both the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons simultaneously. Three LED lights will flash for PopMode, and two LED lights will flash for SafeMode.

3. Music Playback and Calls

   • Play/Pause: Press the multi-function button once.
   • Next Track: Press the volume up (+) button for 2 seconds.
   • Previous Track: Press the volume down (-) button for 2 seconds.
   • Answer/End Call: Press the multi-function button once.
   • Reject Call: Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds.

4. Adjusting Fit

   The headband is adjustable to ensure a comfortable fit for various head sizes. Gently slide the earcups up or down along the headband until a snug and comfortable fit is achieved.

Maintenance

• Cleaning

  The earpads are washable. Gently remove them from the earcups and hand wash with mild soap and water. Allow them to air dry completely before reattaching. Wipe the rest of the headphones with a soft, damp cloth.

• Storage

  The BuddyPhones POP Fun headphones feature a foldable design for easy storage and portability. Fold the earcups inward towards the headband to minimize their size when not in use or for travel.

Troubleshooting

• Headphones Not Powering On/Charging

  Ensure the USB-C charging cable is securely connected to both the headphones and a working power source. Allow sufficient time for charging. If the issue persists, try a different charging cable or power adapter.

• Bluetooth Connection Issues

  Make sure the headphones are in pairing mode (flashing blue and red LED). Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled and within range. Try unpairing and re-pairing the headphones with your device. If problems continue, perform a factory reset.

• Audio Quality Issues (e.g., sound cut off in one ear)

  For wired connections, ensure the 3.5mm audio cable is fully inserted into both the headphones and the audio device. Test with a different audio cable if available. For Bluetooth, ensure the headphones are within range and there is no interference. Check the audio source for any issues.

• Factory Reset

  If you experience persistent issues, a factory reset can often resolve them. To perform a factory reset:

  1. Ensure the headphones are powered on.
  2. Press and hold both the volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.
  3. The headphones will reset and automatically power off.
