- Rinse Rice: Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Add to Pot: Place the rinsed rice into the inner pot.
- Add Water: Add water according to the type of rice and desired consistency. A common ratio for white rice is 1 cup of rice to 1.5 cups of water. Refer to the water level markings inside the inner pot if available.
- Close Lid: Place the inner pot into the main unit and close the lid securely. Press the lid down firmly until it clicks into place.
- Select Function: Press the "MENU/CANCEL" button repeatedly until the "RICE" indicator light illuminates.

- Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to "WARM" mode, and the "WARM" indicator will light up. Allow the rice to rest for 10-15 minutes in "WARM" mode for optimal texture.

5.2. Cooking Porridge/Congee
- Prepare Grains: Measure desired grains (e.g., rice, oats) and rinse if necessary.
- Add to Pot: Place grains into the inner pot.
- Add Liquid: Add water or broth. Porridge typically requires a higher water ratio than rice (e.g., 1 cup of rice to 7-10 cups of water for congee).
- Close Lid: Place the inner pot into the main unit and close the lid securely. Press the lid down firmly.
- Select Function: Press the "MENU/CANCEL" button repeatedly until the "CONGEE" indicator light illuminates.
- Start Cooking: The cooker will automatically begin the cooking cycle.
- Keep Warm & Serve: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will switch to "WARM" mode. Stir and serve carefully.
5.3. Cooking Soup/Stew
- Prepare Ingredients: Place your prepared ingredients and liquid (water, broth) into the inner pot. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Close Lid: Place the inner pot into the main unit and close the lid securely. Press the lid down firmly.
- Select Function: Press the "MENU/CANCEL" button to select either "RICE" or "CONGEE" depending on the desired cooking time and intensity. "CONGEE" mode generally provides a longer, gentler cook suitable for many soups and stews.
- Start Cooking: The cooker will begin cooking. Monitor the process as needed.
- Keep Warm & Serve: Once cooking is complete, the cooker will switch to "WARM" mode. Serve carefully.
5.4. Keep Warm Function
After any cooking cycle, the appliance automatically switches to the "WARM" mode. This function maintains the food at a serving temperature for up to 12 hours. To manually activate "WARM" mode, ensure the cooker is plugged in and press the "MENU/CANCEL" button until the "WARM" indicator lights up. It is recommended not to use the "WARM" function for excessively long periods to preserve food quality and taste.
6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your rice cooker.
- Always Unplug: Before cleaning, always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely.
- Inner Pot and Lid: The ceramic non-stick inner pot and the lid are dishwasher safe. Alternatively, wash them with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling.
- Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
