This device is designed to provide versatile audio playback from CDs, MP3s, and TF cards, featuring a built-in speaker, FM transmitter, and a rechargeable battery for portability. This manual will guide you through the features and functions to ensure an optimal user experience.

  1. LCD Display: Shows track number, time, mode, and FM frequency.
  2. A-B Repeat Button: Repeats a selected segment of audio.
  3. PROG/FM Button: Enters program playback mode or FM transmitter mode.
  4. +10 Skip Button: Skips forward by 10 tracks.
  5. MODE Button: Cycles through playback modes (Repeat One, Repeat All, Random, Intro, Normal) and activates TF card mode.
  6. EQ Button: Cycles through equalizer sound effects (BBS, Pop, Jazz, Rock, Classic).
  7. Previous/Fast Rewind Button: Skips to the previous track or fast rewinds.
  8. Play/Pause Button: Starts or pauses playback.
  9. Next/Fast Forward Button: Skips to the next track or fast forwards.
  10. Stop/Sleep Mode Button: Stops playback and can activate sleep mode.

3. Setup

3.1 Powering On and Charging

The Desobry CD player features a built-in 2000mAh rechargeable battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

3.2 Inserting a CD

  1. Slide the OPEN switch to open the CD compartment lid.
  2. Carefully place a CD (CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 disc) onto the spindle, ensuring it clicks into place.
  3. Close the CD compartment lid firmly until it latches.

3.3 Inserting a TF Card

The player supports TF (Micro SD) cards up to 32GB, formatted as FAT32. It does not support 64GB or larger cards, or other file systems. Supported audio formats are MP3/WMA.

  1. Ensure the power is ON.
  2. Insert a FAT32 formatted TF card into the TF Card Port until it clicks.
  3. Press and hold the 'MODE' button for 3 seconds to enter TF card mode. The LCD will display "SD".
  4. To exit TF card mode, press and hold the 'MODE' button for 3 seconds again.

4.4 FM Transmitter Function

The player can transmit audio to an FM radio, such as a car stereo. Supported frequencies are 79.3MHz, 88.5MHz, 93.6MHz, 103.0MHz, and 107.1MHz. Note: This device transmits FM signals; it does not receive FM radio broadcasts.

  1. While playing a CD or TF card, press the PROG/FM button to activate FM transmitter mode. The LCD will display an FM frequency.
  2. Press the PROG/FM button repeatedly to cycle through the available FM frequencies (79.3, 88.5, 93.6, 103.0, 107.1 MHz).
  3. Tune your car radio or other FM receiver to the exact same frequency displayed on the CD player.
  4. To turn off the FM transmitter, press the PROG/FM button repeatedly until "FMOFF" is displayed on the screen.

4.5 AUX Output

Use the provided 3.5mm AUX cable to connect the CD player to external speakers, home theater systems, or car audio systems that have a standard 3.5mm AUX input. This allows for high-fidelity audio playback through your preferred sound system.

4.6 HOLD Function

To prevent accidental button presses during transport or active use, slide the HOLD switch to the ON position. This will disable all buttons. To resume normal operation, slide the HOLD switch back to OFF.

4.7 Dual Headphone Jacks

The player is equipped with two 3.5mm headphone jacks, allowing two users to listen simultaneously. Headphone Port 1 supports wired control functionality (e.g., play/pause, skip tracks) if your headphones are equipped with such features.

5. Special Features

5.1 Anti-Skip Protection (ASP)

The device incorporates Anti-Skip Protection to ensure smooth playback even during minor shocks or vibrations. It provides approximately 100 seconds of skip protection for CD audio and 180 seconds for MP3 discs.

5.2 Resume Playback

The player remembers the last playback position. If you stop playback and turn off the device, it will resume from where it left off when powered on again.

5.3 +10 Skip Function

For quick navigation through longer albums or audiobooks, press the +10 button to skip forward by 10 tracks.

5.4 A-B Repeat

This function is particularly useful for language learning. Press the A-B button at the start point (A) and again at the end point (B) of a desired segment. The player will repeatedly play this segment.
