4. Operating Instructions
Before operating, ensure the T76 Programmer is correctly set up and the software is running.
- Select Chip: In the XGecu T76 software, navigate to the 'Select IC' menu and choose the exact model of the chip you intend to program. Refer to the chip's datasheet for accurate identification.
- Install Adapter: Select the appropriate adapter for your chip package. Carefully insert the adapter into the ZIF socket on the T76 Programmer. Ensure it is seated correctly and securely.
- Insert Chip: Open the ZIF socket lever on the adapter. Carefully insert the chip into the adapter, paying close attention to the pin 1 indicator (notch or dot) to ensure correct orientation. Close the ZIF socket lever to secure the chip.
- Perform Operation: Use the software interface to perform desired operations such as:
- Read: To read data from the chip.
- Erase: To clear existing data on the chip (if supported).
- Program/Write: To write new data to the chip.
- Verify: To compare the programmed data with the source data for accuracy.
- Remove Chip: After the operation is complete and verified, open the ZIF socket lever and carefully remove the chip from the adapter.
