4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your JOLT Tactical Stun Flashlight. The charging port is located at the base of the device.

1. Locate the charging port at the bottom of the flashlight.
2. Insert the provided charging cord into the port.
3. Plug the other end of the charging cord into a standard wall outlet.
4. A green indicator light will illuminate when charging. The light will turn off or change color (depending on the model) when fully charged.

4.2 Power Safety Switch

At the base of the flashlight, there is a master ON/OFF safety switch. Ensure this switch is in the 'OFF' position when not in use or during charging to prevent accidental activation.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Flashlight Operation

To use the flashlight function:

1. Ensure the master safety switch at the base is in the 'ON' position.
2. Locate the function switch on the side of the flashlight body.
3. Slide the function switch upwards one click to activate the flashlight.
4. Continue sliding the switch to cycle through different light modes (e.g., high, low, strobe).

5.2 Stun Function Operation

To use the stun function:

1. Ensure the master safety switch at the base is in the 'ON' position.
2. Slide the function switch on the side of the flashlight body all the way down to the stun position.
3. Press the small, round activation button (often located near the function switch) to discharge the stun function. You will hear a crackling sound and see an arc of electricity between the stun probes.
4. Release the button to stop the discharge.

Always exercise extreme caution when using the stun function. Only activate when necessary for self-defense.
