1. Introduction
The YOLOLIV Instream is a portable vertical live streaming encoder and monitor designed for multi-camera live productions on platforms like Instagram and TikTok. It allows users to connect external cameras, switch between multiple video sources, and add professional-grade overlays and effects directly from the device. This manual provides instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your Instream device.

3. Setup
3.1 Device Overview

3.2 Initial Power On and Connections
- Power Connection: Connect one of the provided USB Type-C cables to the USB-C port on the Instream and the other end to a suitable power adapter (not included) or power source.
- SD Card Insertion: Locate the SD card slot on the side of the device. Insert the 64GB Extreme UHS-I SDXC Memory Card with the label facing up until it clicks into place. This card is used for recording your streams.
- SIM Card (Optional): If using 4G LTE for streaming, insert a compatible SIM card into the SIM card slot using the provided eject pin.
- HDMI Inputs: Connect your external cameras or video sources to the HDMI IN 1 and HDMI IN 2 ports using HDMI cables. The Instream supports up to two HDMI inputs.
- HDMI Output (Optional): Connect an external monitor to the HDMI OUT port to view your stream on a larger display.
- Audio Input: Connect external microphones or audio mixers to the 3.5mm audio input jack for enhanced audio quality.
- Network Connection: For internet access, connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port or configure Wi-Fi settings on the device.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 User Interface Navigation
The Instream features a 7-inch LCD touchscreen display for intuitive control. Navigate through menus and settings by tapping and swiping on the screen.

4.2 Starting a Live Stream
- Select Platform: On the main screen, choose your desired streaming platform (e.g., Instagram, TikTok).
- Configure Stream Settings: Adjust resolution (up to 1080p60), bitrate, and other stream parameters as needed.
- Add Video Sources: Tap to add your connected HDMI cameras as video sources. You can switch between these sources during the live stream.
- Go Live: Once settings are configured and sources are selected, tap the "Go Live" button to begin your broadcast.
4.3 Using Overlays and Effects
The Instream allows for dynamic enhancement of your live stream with various overlays and effects.
- Graphic Overlays: Add custom image overlays, lower thirds, and social media graphics to your stream.
- Picture-in-Picture (PiP): Display multiple video sources simultaneously using PiP functionality.
- Chroma Key: Utilize green screen effects for virtual backgrounds.
- Transition Effects: Apply smooth transitions when switching between camera inputs.

4.4 Recording
In addition to live streaming, the Instream can record your production directly to the inserted SD card. Look for the record button on the interface to start and stop recording.
