1. Introduction

2. Setup
2.1. Physical Connections
- Connect to Display: Use the provided HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUTPUT port on the media player to an HDMI input on your TV or AV receiver.
- Connect to Power: Connect the power supply to the DC 12V input port on the media player, then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- Network Connection (Optional): For wired network access, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the GIGABIT LAN port on the media player. For wireless, ensure Wi-Fi antennas are installed.
- Audio Connection (Optional): For optical audio, connect an optical cable from the OPTICAL port to your audio system. For analog audio, use the A/V OUT port with the provided 3.5mm-3RCA cable.

2.2. Hard Drive Installation
The Dune HD Real Vision 4K Duo supports two 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drives (HDD) or Solid State Drives (SSD) up to 16TB each. Hard drive bays are equipped with indicators and can be key-locked for security.
- Unlock Bays: Use the provided keys to unlock the hard drive bays on the front panel.
- Insert Drive: Gently slide your 2.5" or 3.5" SATA HDD/SSD into an empty bay until it clicks into place. Ensure the drive is properly aligned with the connector.
- Secure Drive: Attach the hard drive to the tray using the included screws.
- Lock Bays (Optional): Re-lock the bays using the keys for added security.
The device supports hot-swapping of hard drives, allowing you to insert or remove drives while the unit is powered on, provided the system is not actively accessing the drive.

2.3. Antenna Installation
Install the two Wi-Fi + Bluetooth antennas onto the gold-plated connectors at the rear of the unit. These antennas are essential for both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality, including the Bluetooth remote control, even if Wi-Fi is not used.
2.4. Initial Power-On
After all connections are made, flip the ON/OFF switch at the rear of the unit to the 'ON' position. The device will power on, and the front display will illuminate. Follow the on-screen instructions for initial setup, including network configuration and system updates.
3. Operating
3.1. Remote Control
The Dune HD Real Vision 4K Duo comes with a Bluetooth remote control. This remote offers superior range and does not require direct line-of-sight to the player. It includes a built-in microphone for voice search functionality in compatible applications.
- Pairing: The remote is usually pre-paired. If not, follow the on-screen instructions during initial setup or refer to the device's settings menu for Bluetooth pairing.
- Voice Search: Press the microphone button on the remote and speak your command or search query.
- Navigation: Use the directional pad and 'ENTER' button to navigate menus and select options.
