Child Lock Feature
The iDOO Composter is equipped with a double safety child lock. The unit will not operate if the lid is not properly locked, and an alarm will sound. This prevents accidental operation by children.

Setup and Components
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials. Ensure all components are present: main unit, removable bucket, lid, and carbon filter.
- Placement: Place the composter on a dry, flat, and stable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation, especially around the air outlet and inlet.
- Filter Installation:
- Locate the filter compartment at the back of the unit.
- Open the compartment and insert the activated carbon filter. Ensure any yellow warning stickers at the air outlet and inlet of the carbon filter are removed before use.
- Close the filter compartment securely.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
Adding Food Waste
- Unlock the lid by rotating the knob to the unlock position and lift it.
- Place food waste into the removable 3L bucket. Do not overfill.
- Insert the bucket back into the main unit, aligning the notches.
- Close the lid and rotate the knob to the lock position. The unit will beep to confirm it's locked.

Selecting a Mode
Press the Power button (short press) to turn on the unit. The light will flash, indicating it's ready. The iDOO Composter offers different modes:
- Kitchen Waste Mode (Crush/Dry): This mode uses high-temperature drying and milling to convert food waste into pre-compost within 6 hours. Ideal for general food scraps.
- Ferment Mode: This mode is designed for a longer process (12-20 hours) to maximize nutrient retention in the final compost.
- Timer Function: Utilize the timer settings to operate the composter during off-peak electricity hours to save energy costs.

Composting Process
- Dry on High Heat: The unit begins by drying the food waste at high temperatures.

Important: Avoid putting items with high fat content or excessive moisture, as this may affect the composting process or damage the unit. Large items should be cut into smaller pieces (thumb-sized or smaller) to prevent jamming.
Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit
- Self-Cleaning Mode: The unit has a self-cleaning mode. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on how to activate it.
- Dishwasher Safe Bucket: The removable processing bucket is dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.

Filter Replacement
The activated charcoal filter should be replaced regularly to maintain odor-free operation. The unit will provide a notification when it's time to replace the filter (approximately every 1000 hours of use).
- To replace, open the filter compartment at the back of the unit.

- Close the compartment securely.
Troubleshooting
