5. Operating Instructions
The motion sensor has three adjustable settings to customize its operation:

Figure 7: Close-up of the motion sensor with three adjustment knobs labeled DISTANCE, LUX, and TIME.
- DISTANCE (Sensitivity): Adjusts the detection range of the motion sensor from 16.4 feet (Min) to 32.8 feet (Max). Turn the knob clockwise to increase sensitivity, counter-clockwise to decrease.
- TIME (Delay Time): Sets how long the light remains on after motion is detected and no further motion is sensed. Adjustable from 10 seconds (Min) to 7 minutes (Max). Turn clockwise for longer duration.
- LUX (Ambient Light Sensor): Determines the ambient light level at which the motion sensor will activate the light.
- Day Mode (Sun icon): Motion detection works during both day and night.
- Night Mode (Moon icon): Motion detection works only at night or in low-light conditions.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your security light.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the light fixture and motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Regularly check for any loose wiring, damaged components, or signs of wear. Ensure the mounting is secure.
