1. Product Overview

2. Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: Read all safety warnings and instructions before using this appliance.

4. Setup
- Attach Hose Holder: Locate the hose holder accessory. Align it with the designated screw hole on the side of the main unit and secure it by screwing it in. This holder keeps the hose in place during storage.
- Fill Clean Water Tank:
- Press the "Clean Water Tank" release button and lift the tank from the unit.
- Unscrew the cap and fill the tank with clean water (room temperature is generally recommended unless specified otherwise by the cleaning formula).
- Add the appropriate amount of Kenmore cleaning formula as indicated on the formula bottle.
- Securely replace the cap and reinsert the clean water tank into the unit until it clicks into place.
- Attach Cleaning Tool: Select either the 3.5" Tough Stain Tool or the 6.5" Wide Path Tool based on your cleaning needs. Attach it firmly to the end of the hose until it locks.

5. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Plug the power cord into a standard 120VAC electrical outlet. Press the power button located on the top of the unit to turn it on.
- Apply Solution: Position the cleaning tool over the stained area. Press the trigger on the cleaning tool handle to spray cleaning solution onto the stain.
- Scrub the Stain: Gently scrub the stained area with the brush on the cleaning tool. For tough stains, allow the solution to penetrate for a few minutes before scrubbing.
- Suction Dirty Water: Release the spray trigger and press the cleaning tool firmly against the surface. Pull the tool slowly over the treated area to suction up the dirty water and cleaning solution. Repeat as necessary until the stain is removed and the water being extracted appears clean.
- Drying: After cleaning, continue to suction the area without spraying to remove as much moisture as possible. Allow the cleaned area to air dry completely.

6. Maintenance
- Empty Dirty Water Tank:
- Press the "Dirty Water Tank" release button and lift the tank from the unit.
- Open the tank cover and pour out the dirty water.
- Rinse the dirty water tank thoroughly with clean water.
- Reattach the tank cover and reinsert the tank into the unit.
- Clean Cleaning Tools: Detach the cleaning tool from the hose. Rinse the tool under running water to remove any debris or residue. Some tools may have removable parts for deeper cleaning.
- Clean Hose: To clean the hose, remove any attached tools. Submerge the end of the hose (without the tool) into a bowl of clean water and run the machine for a few seconds to flush out any remaining solution or debris.
- Storage: Wrap the power cord around the designated cord wraps on the unit. Store the cleaning tools in their onboard storage slots or the hose holder. Store the unit in a dry, indoor location.
