4. Maintenance
4.1. Cleaning
Regularly clean your watch to maintain its appearance and functionality. Use the included Wearable4U cloth or a soft, damp cloth to wipe the screen and watch body. Avoid harsh chemicals.
4.2. Storage
Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure it is fully charged before long-term storage to preserve battery health.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1. Screen Flashing
If the screen appears to flash in videos, this is typically due to camera shutter speed not syncing with the watch's display refresh rate and is not indicative of a watch malfunction. In real-life use, the display is clear and stable.
5.2. Charging Issues
Ensure the magnetic charging cable is securely connected to the watch's charging pins. If charging is intermittent or fails, try cleaning the charging pins on both the watch and the cable. Avoid knocking the watch off its charging surface.
5.3. Hazard Data Missing
In some instances, hazard data may not display for certain holes. This can be a mapping anomaly. Always cross-reference with Hole View or Green View for visual confirmation of hazards.
5.4. Incorrect Course Information
If course layouts or distances appear incorrect, connect your watch to the Bushnell Golf Mobile App and perform a course update. This ensures you have the latest mapping data.
5.5. Factory Reset
If you experience persistent issues, a factory reset can often resolve them. Navigate to 'Settings' > 'System Settings' > 'Reset' and confirm the action. Note that this will erase all user data and settings.
