1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the AEG TR9H92AB Series 9000 Heat Pump Tumble Dryer. This appliance is designed to provide efficient and gentle drying for your laundry. Please read this manual carefully before using the appliance to ensure safe and optimal operation. Keep this manual for future reference.
2. Safety Information
General Safety: Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning or maintenance. Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Ensure proper ventilation in the room where the dryer is installed. Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer. Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes, and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
Electrical Safety: Ensure the power supply voltage matches the rating plate on the appliance. Do not use extension cords or multiple adapters. The appliance must be earthed. Do not pull the power cord to disconnect the plug.
3. What's Included
The package includes:
- AEG Series 9000 A++ Tumble Dryer
- User Manual (this document)
- Drain Hose (if applicable)
4. Installation and Setup
Placement: Place the dryer on a firm, level floor. Ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for ventilation. Do not install the appliance behind a lockable door, a sliding door, or a door with a hinge on the opposite side to that of the tumble dryer, in such a way that a full opening of the tumble dryer door is restricted.
Leveling: Adjust the feet of the appliance to ensure it is perfectly level. This prevents vibrations and excessive noise during operation.
Electrical Connection: Connect the power plug to a grounded electrical outlet. Refer to the rating plate for specific electrical requirements.
Drainage: The dryer collects water in a condensation tank. For continuous drainage, connect the supplied drain hose to the appliance's drain outlet and direct it to a suitable drain.

5. Features
The AEG TR9H92AB Series 9000 Tumble Dryer incorporates advanced technologies for superior fabric care:
- 3D Scan Technology: This technology detects residual moisture up to 5 cm deep within garments, ensuring precise drying even for thick items like jackets and duvets. It helps preserve their appearance and thermal insulation. (Based on ISO 11092 test).

Figure 2: 3D Scan Technology for Uniform Drying of Thick Garments. The image highlights how 3D Scan ensures thorough drying, maintaining the garment's original shape and insulation.
- AbsoluteCare Technology: Utilizes a heat pump to dry clothes with the same gentleness as flat drying. Specific programs and drum movements are designed for each fabric type, preventing shrinkage, especially with the Woolmark Blue certified cycle for wool.

Figure 3: AbsoluteCare Technology for Delicate Garments. This image illustrates how wool does not shrink and silk retains its shape when dried with AbsoluteCare.
- MixDry with Heat Pump: Dries cottons and synthetics together without the need for separation. This program, combined with heat pump technology, delivers excellent results and energy savings.

- Certified Hygiene Cycle: The Hygiene cycle, certified by Swissatest, removes over 99.9% of bacteria and viruses*, ensuring deep and sanitizing cleaning at temperatures above 60°C. Suitable for duvets, pillows, and clothing. (*Confirmed by external tests performed in 2021 by Swissatest Testmaterialien AG).

- SensiDry Technology: Uses specialized sensors for uniform drying at low temperatures, preserving garment longevity. This gentle method ensures fabrics remain unaltered over time by exposing them only to the necessary heat.

6. Operating Instructions
Loading Laundry: Open the dryer door and load items loosely into the drum. Do not overload the dryer. Ensure no items are trapped in the door seal.
Selecting a Program: Turn the program selector knob to choose the desired drying program (e.g., Cottons, Synthetics, Delicates, Wool, MixDry, Sportswear, Hygiene). The display will show the estimated drying time.
Adjusting Settings: Use the touch controls to adjust additional settings such as dryness level, anti-crease, or delayed start, if available for the selected program.
Starting the Cycle: Press the Start/Pause button to begin the drying cycle. The display will show the remaining time.
End of Cycle: An audible signal will indicate the end of the cycle. Remove laundry promptly to minimize creasing. Turn off the appliance and unplug it from the power outlet.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dryer.
- Cleaning the Lint Filter: Clean the lint filter after every drying cycle. Pull out the filter, remove accumulated lint, and rinse under running water if necessary.
- Emptying the Water Tank: Empty the condensation water tank after each cycle. If the dryer is connected to a direct drain, this step is not necessary.
- Cleaning the Condenser: The TR9H92AB features an automatic condenser cleaning system, reducing manual maintenance. However, periodic checks for any debris are recommended.
- Cleaning the Drum: Wipe the drum interior with a damp cloth periodically to remove any residue.
