5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press the TARE button. The display will light up and show '0'.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the TARE button for approximately 3 seconds. The scale will also automatically shut down after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.2 Unit Conversion

To change the measurement unit, simply press the UNIT button. The scale will cycle through the available units: grams (g), kilograms (kg), pounds:ounces (lb:oz), fluid ounces (fl oz), and milliliters (ml).

5.3 Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to exclude the weight of a container from your measurement.

1. Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to '0'.

4. To add another ingredient, press the TARE button again to zero out the current weight, then add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.
