4.1. Printer Components and Interfaces

The printer features multiple connectivity options and indicator lights for easy status monitoring:
- LAN Port: For Ethernet connection.
- USB Port: For direct connection to a computer.
- RJ11 Port: For connecting a cash drawer.
- Power Port: For connecting the power adapter.
- Indicator Lights: Power, Error, and Paper status.
- Feed Button: To advance paper manually.
5. Setup
5.1. Connecting the Printer
- Connect the power adapter to the printer's power port and then to a power outlet.
- Connect the USB cable from the printer to your computer, or connect an Ethernet cable from the printer to your network router/switch.
- If connecting a cash drawer, use the RJ11 cable to connect it to the printer's cash drawer port.
5.2. Loading Thermal Paper

- Open the printer cover by pressing the release button.
- Insert a new 80mm thermal paper roll into the paper compartment, ensuring the paper feeds from the bottom and the leading edge extends past the cutter.
- Close the printer cover firmly until it clicks into place.

Install the necessary drivers from the provided CD or download them from the Volcora support website. The printer supports:
- Ethernet Interface: Windows, Mac OS, Linux, VirtualCom, Android, RaspberryPi, and iOS.
- USB Interface: Windows, Mac OS, Linux, VirtualCom, and Android.
Note: This printer does not support Bluetooth or WiFi printing (unless a specific WiFi variant is purchased). For custom applications on iOS and Android via Ethernet, an SDK is required.

- Compatible: Loyverse, SumUp, Gloria Food, FoodZaps, TabShop POS, POSAPP.vn POS, Olsera POS, KaHero POS.
- Not Compatible: Ubereats, Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, Clover, Shopify, Toast.

6. Operation
6.1. Basic Printing

Once connected and drivers are installed, send print commands from your POS software or application. The printer will automatically print and cut receipts at a speed of up to 260mm/s.
6.2. Wall Mount Installation

Image: The printer can be used as a desktop unit with non-slip rubber feet or wall-mounted using the two hanging holes at the bottom.
The printer includes two hanging holes at the bottom for wall mounting. Securely attach the printer to a wall using appropriate hardware (not included) to save counter space, especially in kitchen environments.
7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning the Printer
- Regularly clean the exterior of the printer with a soft, dry cloth.
- To clean the thermal print head, use an alcohol swab or a specialized thermal printer cleaning pen. Ensure the printer is off and cooled down before cleaning.
7.2. Thermal Print Head Care
The thermal print head is a critical component. Proper maintenance is essential to prevent faded text and ensure print quality. Clean the print head regularly, especially after changing paper rolls or if print quality degrades.
7.3. Paper Roll Replacement
Replace the thermal paper roll when the paper-out indicator lights up or when the end of the roll is near. Follow the paper loading instructions in Section 5.2.
