Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Sunstech CEL4 uses a 1200mAh Lithium Ion rechargeable battery. To install:

  1. Remove the back cover of the phone by gently prying it open from the notch.
  2. Align the battery's gold contacts with the terminals inside the battery compartment.
  3. Press the battery down firmly until it clicks into place.
  4. Replace the back cover, ensuring it is securely fastened.

2. SIM Card Installation

The CEL4 supports Dual SIM functionality, allowing you to use two SIM cards simultaneously.

  1. With the battery removed, locate the SIM card slots.
  2. Insert your SIM card(s) into the designated slot(s) with the gold contacts facing down and the cut corner aligned correctly.
  3. Gently push the SIM card until it is fully seated.
  4. Reinstall the battery and back cover.

3. Charging the Phone

Before first use, fully charge the phone. The package includes a charging base and an AC charger.

  1. Connect the AC charger to a power outlet.
  2. Connect the other end of the charger to the charging base.
  3. Place the Sunstech CEL4 phone into the charging base, ensuring the charging contacts on the phone align with those on the base. A charging indicator will typically appear on the screen.
  4. Alternatively, you can connect the AC charger directly to the micro USB port on the phone.

A full charge provides up to 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of standby time.

SOS Button Functionality

The SOS button is a critical safety feature, allowing quick contact with pre-set emergency numbers.

  1. Setting SOS Numbers: Access the SOS settings in the phone's menu to add up to 5 emergency contacts.
  2. Activating SOS: In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button located on the back of the phone. The phone will automatically dial the pre-set emergency numbers in sequence until one is answered. It will also send an emergency SMS message to these contacts.
