Setup and Installation
Installation of your Hibbent shower head combo is designed to be straightforward and typically does not require professional tools or a plumber. Ensure your existing shower plumbing is standard U.S. 1/2" IPS male thread before beginning.
Installation Steps:
- Prepare the Shower Arm: Remove your existing shower head. Clean any old sealant or debris from the shower arm threads.
- Apply Teflon Tape: Wrap the threads of your existing shower arm with Teflon tape. For best sealing effect, wrap at least 12 rounds.
- Attach Extension Arm: Screw the integrated 12-inch extension arm onto your existing shower arm. Hand-tighten first, then use a wrench if necessary, being careful not to overtighten. Ensure the diverter is positioned correctly.
- Install Rainfall Shower Head: Attach the 10x9-inch rainfall shower head to the top of the extension arm. Ensure a washer is in place and hand-tighten securely.
- Connect Handheld Hose: Connect one end of the 71-inch stainless steel shower hose to the outlet on the side of the 3-way diverter valve on the extension arm. Ensure a washer is in place.
- Attach Handheld Shower Head: Connect the other end of the hose to the handheld shower head. Ensure a washer is in place.
- Mount Adhesive Holder: Choose a suitable, clean, and dry location on your shower wall for the adhesive shower head holder. Press firmly for 30 seconds and allow 24 hours for the adhesive to set before hanging the handheld shower head.
- Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, tighten connections or reapply Teflon tape.

Operating Instructions
Your Hibbent shower head combo offers flexible showering options.
Using the 3-Way Diverter:
The integrated 3-way diverter valve allows you to easily switch between the rainfall shower head, the handheld shower head, or use both simultaneously.
- Rainfall Only: Turn the diverter handle to direct water flow solely to the large rainfall shower head.
- Handheld Only: Turn the diverter handle to direct water flow solely to the handheld shower head.
- Both Simultaneously: Position the diverter handle to allow water flow to both shower heads.

Adjusting Handheld Spray Settings:
The handheld shower head features 10 distinct spray settings. Rotate the spray face or a dedicated lever (depending on model variation) on the handheld unit to cycle through the different modes, such as rain, massage, mist, and wide fan.

Adjusting Height and Angle:
The 12-inch curved extension arm allows for smooth adjustment of the rainfall shower head's height and angle. This design ensures the shower head remains perfectly horizontal and provides vertical water flow, accommodating various user heights.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your shower head combo.
Cleaning Nozzles:
Both the rainfall and handheld shower heads feature rub-clean silicone nozzles. To remove mineral buildup or clogs, simply rub your finger across the silicone jets. This anti-clogging design ensures consistent water flow.

General Cleaning:
Clean the exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild soap or a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers, as these can damage the polished brass finish.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your shower head combo, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Water leaks from connections | Loose connections, insufficient Teflon tape, missing washers. | Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then gently tighten with a wrench if needed. Disassemble, reapply Teflon tape (at least 12 rounds), and ensure all washers are correctly seated before reassembling. |
| Low water pressure | Clogged nozzles, water flow regulator, low household water pressure. | Rub silicone nozzles to clear mineral buildup. Check if the water flow regulator is properly installed or if it's restricting flow too much (consult a professional if unsure about removal). Verify household water pressure is adequate. |
| Diverter not switching properly | Debris in valve, worn internal components. | Flush the system by running water through both heads. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
| Handheld shower head wobbles in holder | Adhesive holder not fully cured or improperly installed. | Ensure the adhesive holder was applied to a clean, dry surface and allowed 24 hours to cure before use. Reinstall if necessary. |
