Important Safety Instructions

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, please follow these guidelines:

Always unplug the lamp from the electrical outlet before cleaning, changing light bulbs, or performing any maintenance.
Do not use with a dimmer switch unless specifically designed for dimmable bulbs.
Do not touch the bulb when the lamp is on or immediately after turning it off, as it will be hot.
Do not operate the lamp with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, do not attempt to repair it yourself. Contact qualified service personnel.

Setup and Assembly

The lampshade requires simple assembly. Follow these steps to set up your PoKat Ceramic Table Lamp:

Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging. Place them on a clean, flat, and stable surface.
Assemble Lampshade: The lampshade is typically shipped flat-packed. Expand the lampshade and secure its shape using the provided clips or frame. Ensure the top and bottom rings are properly aligned.
Attach Harp: Locate the harp, which is the U-shaped metal frame. Squeeze the two ends of the harp together and insert them into the saddle (the small metal piece) on the lamp base directly above the bulb socket. Release the ends to secure the harp in place.
Place Lampshade: Carefully lower the assembled lampshade onto the harp. The top ring of the lampshade should rest on the top of the harp.
Secure with Finial: Screw the finial (the decorative knob) onto the threaded rod at the top of the harp. Tighten it gently until the lampshade is held securely in place. Do not overtighten.
Install Bulb: Insert a compatible light bulb (E26 base, max 60W incandescent or equivalent LED) into the lamp socket.
Position Lamp: Place the assembled lamp on a stable surface, such as a nightstand, end table, or console. Ensure the cord is not pinched or in a high-traffic area.

Operation

Operating your PoKat Ceramic Table Lamp is straightforward:

Plug In: Insert the lamp's power plug into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
Turn On/Off: Locate the rotary switch on the lamp socket. Turn the switch clockwise to turn the lamp ON. Turn it counter-clockwise to turn the lamp OFF.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your lamps:

Cleaning:
- Always unplug the lamp before cleaning.
- Wipe the ceramic base with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or polishes, as they may damage the finish.
- Dust the lampshade with a soft brush or a lint roller. For deeper cleaning, gently wipe with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry completely.
Bulb Replacement:
- Ensure the lamp is unplugged and the bulb has cooled down completely before attempting to replace it.
- Unscrew the old bulb counter-clockwise.
- Screw in a new E26 base bulb (max 60W incandescent or equivalent LED) clockwise until snug. Do not overtighten.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your lamp, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
