4. Setup and Installation
The IMEX ART BDAR025 shower system is designed for wall mounting. Follow these general steps for installation:
- Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure the wall surface is clean, stable, and capable of supporting the shower system. Turn off the main water supply.
- Mark Drilling Points: Refer to the technical drawing for precise measurements. Mark the positions for the faucet and shower bar mounting brackets on the wall. The shower bar is extendable between 95 cm and 130 cm, allowing for height adjustment.
- Drill Holes: Use an appropriate drill bit for your wall type and drill the marked holes. Insert wall plugs.
- Install the Faucet: Connect the hot and cold water lines to the faucet. Ensure all connections are sealed with appropriate gaskets and tightened securely. Mount the faucet to the wall using the provided screws.
- Assemble the Shower Bar: Attach the extendable shower bar to the faucet and secure it to the upper wall bracket. Adjust the height of the bar as desired.
- Install Shower Head and Hand Shower: Attach the square shower head to the top of the shower bar. Connect the reinforced hose to the hand shower and the faucet's outlet. Place the hand shower in its adjustable holder on the bar.
- Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check all connections for any leaks. Tighten any leaking connections immediately.

5. Operating Instructions
Your IMEX ART BDAR025 shower system features a monocommand faucet and an integrated diverter for ease of use.
- Water Flow and Temperature Control: The single lever on the faucet controls both water flow and temperature. Lift the lever to increase flow. Move the lever left for hot water and right for cold water.
- Diverter Function: The square diverter integrated into the faucet allows you to switch between the main shower head and the hand shower. Rotate or pull the diverter knob to select your desired water outlet.
- Adjustable Hand Shower Holder: The hand shower holder can be adjusted vertically along the shower bar to suit individual preferences.
- Water Pressure: The water outlet pressure is adjustable, allowing you to control the force of the water flow. The average water flow is 12 liters per minute.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning
Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your IMEX ART BDAR025 shower system. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials.
- Daily Cleaning: For general surface cleaning, use a soft cotton cloth. Dampen the cloth if necessary. Gently wipe the surfaces to remove most dirt without damaging the material. Do not use abrasive sponges or brushes.
- Limescale Removal: Limescale deposits typically accumulate in corners and joints. Use a mild, citric acid-based cleaner. Do not spray the concentrated cleaner directly onto the faucet; instead, apply it to a cloth first.
- Aerator Cleaning: The aerator (at the shower head or hand shower) can be easily removed for cleaning. Immerse it in warm water with a small amount of cleaner for about ten minutes to dissolve deposits.
- Rinsing: After cleaning, thoroughly rinse the faucet and shower components with clean water.
- Finishing Touch: Repeat the first step (wiping with a soft cloth) to completely remove any cleaning product residues and restore a brilliant finish to the surface.
Important Note: We recommend using mild, citric acid-based cleaning products. Stronger chemical concentrates can irritate skin and eyes, cause allergies, and may damage the faucet's material over time.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your shower system, consider the following common solutions:
- Low Water Pressure: Check if the main water supply is fully open. Inspect the shower head and hand shower nozzles for limescale buildup and clean them as described in the Maintenance section. Ensure the hose is not kinked.
- Leaks: If you notice leaks, first ensure all connections are tightly secured. Check gaskets for wear and replace if necessary. If the leak is from the faucet body, the internal cartridge might need inspection by a professional.
- Temperature Fluctuations: Ensure both hot and cold water supplies are functioning correctly. If the issue persists, the faucet's thermostatic cartridge may require professional attention.
- Diverter Malfunction: If water is not switching correctly between outlets, check for any obstructions in the diverter mechanism or limescale buildup.
