1. Introduction
Thank you for choosing the CCLIFE 500cc Fluid Extractor and Transfer Pump. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your new tool. This pump is designed for the efficient removal and transfer of various non-corrosive liquids, such as engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, and water, from vehicles, ATVs, boats, and other equipment.
Please read these instructions carefully before operation and retain them for future reference.
2. Safety Information
Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the product:
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as gloves and eye protection, when handling fluids.
- Ensure the work area is well-ventilated.
- Do not use the pump with flammable liquids like gasoline or highly corrosive chemicals.
- Avoid contact with hot engine components or fluids. Allow engines to cool before servicing.
- Keep the pump and fluids away from open flames or ignition sources.
- Dispose of used fluids responsibly according to local regulations.
- Keep out of reach of children.
3. Package Contents
Verify that all components are present before proceeding:
- 1 x CCLIFE 500cc Fluid Extractor Pump
- 2 x Hoses (6mm and 8mm outer diameter)
- 4 x Rubber Cushions (for piston seals)
- 1 x Anti-drip Lid
- 1 x Silicone Connector
- Spare O-rings (may be included for maintenance)

4. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to prepare your fluid extractor for use:
- Inspect Components: Before each use, check all parts for any signs of damage or wear. Ensure the rubber seals on the piston are intact and properly seated to prevent leaks.
- Attach Hose: Select the appropriate hose (6mm or 8mm outer diameter) for your application. Press the button on the top of the pump's nozzle to insert the hose securely. Release the button to lock the hose in place.
- Prepare for Use: Ensure the pump is clean and free from any residue from previous uses, especially if transferring different types of fluids.

Figure 2: Attaching the Hose. This image demonstrates how to connect the hose to the pump by pressing the blue lock button on the nozzle, allowing for secure insertion or removal of the hose.
5. Operating Instructions
The CCLIFE fluid extractor is designed for both fluid extraction and transfer:
5.1. Fluid Extraction
- Position the Hose: Insert the selected hose into the fluid reservoir (e.g., engine oil dipstick tube, brake fluid reservoir) from which you wish to extract fluid. Ensure the hose reaches the bottom or the desired fluid level.
- Operate the Pump: Hold the pump body firmly. Pull the piston handle upwards to create suction, drawing fluid into the pump cylinder. Push the handle downwards to expel air. Repeat this action until fluid begins to fill the cylinder.
- Monitor Fluid Level: The transparent cylinder allows you to monitor the fluid volume. The pump has a 500cc capacity.
- Emptying the Pump: Once the desired amount of fluid is extracted, or the pump is full, remove the hose from the source. Position the pump over a suitable waste container and push the piston handle down to expel the fluid.

Figure 3: Extracting Brake Fluid. This image shows the pump in use, extracting fluid from a vehicle's brake fluid reservoir, demonstrating the ease of access and operation in tight engine bay spaces.

Figure 4: Extracting Engine Oil. Here, the fluid extractor is used to draw engine oil from a car's engine, illustrating its application for oil changes without needing to drain from below.
5.2. Fluid Transfer/Filling
To transfer or fill fluids, reverse the extraction process:
- Fill the Pump: Draw the desired fluid into the pump cylinder from a clean source.
- Position for Transfer: Insert the hose into the target reservoir or component.
- Expel Fluid: Slowly push the piston handle downwards to transfer the fluid into the target. Control the flow rate by adjusting the pressure on the handle.
6. Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your fluid extractor:
- Cleaning: After each use, especially when changing fluid types, thoroughly clean the pump and hoses. Disassemble the pump by removing the piston. Wash all components with warm soapy water (maximum 40-45°C) and rinse thoroughly. Avoid using harsh solvents or chemicals that may damage the plastic or rubber components.
- Drying: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembly and storage to prevent corrosion or contamination.
- Piston Seals: Regularly inspect the double rubber rings (O-rings) on the piston for wear or damage. If necessary, replace them with the provided spare O-rings. For optimal performance and to prevent leaks, apply a small amount of neutral petroleum jelly (vaseline) to the O-rings before reassembly.
- Storage: Store the pump and its accessories in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Poor or no suction |
|
|
| Fluid leakage |
|
|
| Piston difficult to move |
