CCLIFE 500cc Fluid Extractor and Transfer Pump User Manual

Model: 9055

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the CCLIFE 500cc Fluid Extractor and Transfer Pump. This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your new tool. This pump is designed for the efficient removal and transfer of various non-corrosive liquids, such as engine oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, coolant, and water, from vehicles, ATVs, boats, and other equipment.

Please read these instructions carefully before operation and retain them for future reference.

2. Safety Information

Always observe the following safety precautions to prevent injury or damage to the product:

3. Package Contents

Verify that all components are present before proceeding:

Components of the CCLIFE 500cc Fluid Extractor Pump, including the main pump body, two hoses, double rubber rings, anti-drip lid, silicone connectors, and thickened lever.

4. Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to prepare your fluid extractor for use:

  1. Inspect Components: Before each use, check all parts for any signs of damage or wear. Ensure the rubber seals on the piston are intact and properly seated to prevent leaks.
  2. Attach Hose: Select the appropriate hose (6mm or 8mm outer diameter) for your application. Press the button on the top of the pump's nozzle to insert the hose securely. Release the button to lock the hose in place.
  3. Prepare for Use: Ensure the pump is clean and free from any residue from previous uses, especially if transferring different types of fluids.

5. Operating Instructions

The CCLIFE fluid extractor is designed for both fluid extraction and transfer:

5.1. Fluid Extraction

  1. Position the Hose: Insert the selected hose into the fluid reservoir (e.g., engine oil dipstick tube, brake fluid reservoir) from which you wish to extract fluid. Ensure the hose reaches the bottom or the desired fluid level.
  2. Operate the Pump: Hold the pump body firmly. Pull the piston handle upwards to create suction, drawing fluid into the pump cylinder. Push the handle downwards to expel air. Repeat this action until fluid begins to fill the cylinder.
  3. Monitor Fluid Level: The transparent cylinder allows you to monitor the fluid volume. The pump has a 500cc capacity.
  4. Emptying the Pump: Once the desired amount of fluid is extracted, or the pump is full, remove the hose from the source. Position the pump over a suitable waste container and push the piston handle down to expel the fluid.

5.2. Fluid Transfer/Filling

To transfer or fill fluids, reverse the extraction process:

  1. Fill the Pump: Draw the desired fluid into the pump cylinder from a clean source.
  2. Position for Transfer: Insert the hose into the target reservoir or component.
  3. Expel Fluid: Slowly push the piston handle downwards to transfer the fluid into the target. Control the flow rate by adjusting the pressure on the handle.

6. Maintenance and Care

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your fluid extractor:

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Poor or no suction
  • Loose hose connection
  • Damaged or worn piston seals (O-rings)
  • Hose not fully submerged in fluid
  • Air leak in the system
  • Ensure hose is securely locked into the nozzle.
  • Inspect and replace piston seals if necessary. Lubricate seals with petroleum jelly.
  • Adjust hose position to ensure it is deep enough in the fluid.
  • Check all connections for tightness.
Fluid leakage
  • Damaged or improperly seated piston seals
  • Loose connections
  • Cracked pump body or hose
  • Inspect and replace piston seals. Ensure they are properly seated and lubricated.
  • Tighten all connections.
  • If components are cracked, discontinue use and replace the affected part or the entire unit.
Piston difficult to move
  • Dry or unlubricated piston seals
  • Fluid residue buildup
  • Lubricate piston seals with neutral petroleum jelly.
  • Clean the pump thoroughly, especially the piston and cylinder interior.
