Setup

1. Assembly

Connect the chainsaw head to the telescopic pole. Ensure all connections are secure and locked into place before use. The pole can be extended and retracted to achieve the desired working length.

The telescopic pole can be adjusted from 160-225 cm to 206-270 cm for extended reach.

2. Battery Installation

Insert a fully charged VONROC 20V VPower battery into the battery slot at the base of the handle until it clicks into place. To remove, press the release button and slide the battery out.

3. Chain Oiling

Locate the oil reservoir cap on the chainsaw head. Fill the reservoir with appropriate chainsaw chain oil. The chainsaw features an automatic lubrication system, but it is crucial to ensure the reservoir is adequately filled before and during operation. (Oil not included)

Operating Instructions

1. Pre-Operation Checks

• Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely installed.
• Check the chain oil level and refill if necessary.
• Verify chain tension. The chain should be snug but still able to be pulled freely around the guide bar by hand.
• Confirm all pole sections and the chainsaw head are securely locked.

2. Starting and Stopping

To start the chainsaw, press the safety lock-off button and then squeeze the trigger switch. To stop, release the trigger switch.

3. Adjusting Pole Length

To adjust the pole length, unlock the telescopic mechanism, extend or retract the pole to the desired length (up to 2.70m total working height), and then securely lock it in place. Always ensure the pole is fully locked before operating.

4. Adjusting Head Angle

The chainsaw head can be inclined to 3 different positions. Adjust the angle by pressing the release button and setting the head to the desired position. This allows for optimal cutting angles for various branches.

5. Pruning Techniques

• Always stand on a stable surface. Do not overreach.
• Begin cutting from the underside of the branch to prevent pinching, then complete the cut from the top.
• Allow the chainsaw to do the work; do not force it. The chain speed of 5 m/s is designed for efficient cutting.
• Be aware of falling branches and clear the area below.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your chainsaw. Always remove the battery before performing any maintenance.

1. Cleaning

After each use, clean the chainsaw thoroughly. Remove sawdust, chips, and debris from the guide bar, chain, and motor housing. Use a soft brush or compressed air. Do not use water or harsh chemicals.

2. Chain Care

• Tension: Check chain tension regularly. A loose chain can derail, and a too-tight chain can cause excessive wear.
• Sharpening: A dull chain reduces cutting efficiency and increases kickback risk. Sharpen the chain as needed or replace it.
• Lubrication: Ensure the automatic oiler is functioning and the reservoir is filled.

3. Guide Bar Maintenance

Clean the guide bar groove to remove accumulated sawdust and debris. Periodically flip the guide bar to ensure even wear.
