5. Maintenance

5.1 Water Resistance

This watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for daily use, hand washing, showering, and swimming in shallow water. Important: Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged in water, and avoid prolonged exposure to hot water or steam, as this can compromise the water resistance seals.

5.2 Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by drying. Avoid using chemical cleaners, which can damage the watch's materials.

5.3 Battery Replacement

The watch uses a long-lasting battery. When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Digital Display is Blank or Dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
  • Buttons Not Responding: Ensure the watch is not in a locked mode (if applicable, though this model does not specify one). If submerged, remove from water. If the issue persists, a battery replacement or professional inspection may be needed.
  • Incorrect Time/Date: Re-set the time and date following the instructions in Section 3.1. Ensure the analog hands are also set correctly (Section 3.2).
  • Water Inside the Watch: Immediately take the watch to a professional for inspection and repair to prevent further damage. Avoid exposing the watch to water if seals are compromised.
