Setup and Installation
Harness Mode (25-65 lbs, 34-49 inches)
- Prepare the Car Seat: Ensure the harness is at or above your child's shoulders. Adjust the headrest to the appropriate height.
- Open ClickTight: Locate the ClickTight access panel on the front of the car seat. Press the release button and lift the panel to open it.
- Route Seat Belt: Thread the vehicle's lap and shoulder belt through the designated belt path, ensuring it lies flat and is not twisted.
- Buckle and Tighten: Buckle the vehicle seat belt. Remove all slack from the lap portion of the belt, then the shoulder portion.
- Close ClickTight: Press the ClickTight panel firmly down until it clicks into place. This action automatically tensions the seat belt.
- Check for Security: Grasp the car seat at the belt path and attempt to move it side-to-side and front-to-back. It should not move more than one inch.
- Attach Top Tether: Secure the top tether strap to the vehicle's designated tether anchor point. Tighten the tether strap.

Operating the Car Seat
Adjusting Harness and Headrest
The 9-position harness and headrest can be adjusted simultaneously with one hand. Locate the adjustment lever at the top of the headrest. Squeeze the lever and slide the headrest up or down until the harness straps are at or just above your child's shoulders in harness mode, or the shoulder belt guide is correctly positioned for booster mode.
