CASE ELEGANCE Luca Humidor Cabinet Instruction Manual
Model: Luca Humidor Cabinet
Introduction
Thank you for choosing the CASE ELEGANCE Luca Humidor Cabinet. This manual provides essential instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your new humidor to ensure optimal conditions for your cigars. Please read this guide thoroughly before use.
Safety Information
WARNING: This product requires assembly. Exercise caution when handling the magnetic door to prevent pinching fingers. Keep the humidor solution out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest or inhale the solution.
Setup
1. Assembly
The Luca Humidor Cabinet requires assembly. Please follow the included assembly instructions carefully for proper setup. Be cautious when handling the magnetic door to avoid pinching fingers during installation.
2. Seasoning and Humidification System Setup
Proper seasoning is crucial for your humidor to maintain consistent humidity. The Luca Humidor features a streamlined humidification system designed for ease of use.
- Prepare the Hydro Tray: Locate the separate, extending drawer designed to house the Hydro Tray. This allows for easy access without disturbing your cigars.
- Add Gel Crystals: Place the included gel crystals into the Hydro Tray.
- Apply Humidor Solution: Pour the provided humidor solution over the gel crystals in the Hydro Tray. The system is designed to regulate humidity between 65-72% RH. For dry climates or winter conditions, use the specialized winter solution if provided.

The thick Spanish cedar back wall and substantial cedar in the drawers (5mm thick, compared to thinner veneers in other humidors) assist in regulating humidity and deterring cigar beetles. Allow several days for the humidor to stabilize its humidity levels before introducing cigars.
Operating Instructions
1. Cigar Storage and Organization
The Luca Humidor Cabinet is designed to store 80-100 cigars across three fully removable drawers, each featuring real tempered glass fronts. The patent-pending PEG system allows for flexible organization of your cigars.

- PEG System: Utilize the modular PEG system within each drawer to create custom compartments and secure your cigars in place.
- Magnetic Door: The cabinet-style magnetic door ensures a tight seal, preventing air leakage and maintaining stable humidity. Embedded 180-degree hinges provide full access to the cigar drawers.

2. Digital Hygrometer
The humidor includes a digital hygrometer for accurate monitoring of internal humidity levels. This display is integrated into one of the drawers for easy visibility.

3. Accessory Drawer
A dedicated accessory drawer is located at the bottom of the cabinet. This soft, felt-lined drawer is designed to store your torch lighters, cigar cutters, travel cases, and other cigar-smoking essentials.
Maintenance
1. Humidification Refills
Regularly check the digital hygrometer. When humidity levels drop below the desired range (typically 65-72%), refill the Hydro Tray with humidor solution. The extending drawer design allows for easy refilling without removing cigars.

2. Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the humidor with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For the interior Spanish cedar, avoid water or cleaning solutions; the wood naturally regulates humidity and aroma. Periodically inspect the gel crystals in the Hydro Tray and replace them if they appear degraded or no longer absorb solution effectively.
Troubleshooting
- Low Humidity: Ensure the Hydro Tray has sufficient solution and gel crystals. Verify the humidor door is fully closed and sealed. Check for any cracks or gaps in the humidor's construction.
- High Humidity: Reduce the amount of humidor solution or gel crystals. Ensure the humidor is not in an overly humid environment.
- Inaccurate Hygrometer: While the digital hygrometer is designed for accuracy, external factors can influence readings. If you suspect inaccuracy, consider calibrating it with a reliable calibration kit.
- Cigar Beetles: The Spanish cedar helps deter cigar beetles. If you observe any, immediately isolate affected cigars and consider freezing them to eliminate pests, then thoroughly clean and re-season your humidor.
