Controls and Connections:

5. Setup

5.1 Powering the Unit

The Pitchblack X Mini can be powered in two ways:

5.2 Connecting Your Instrument

1. Connect your instrument's output to the INPUT jack of the Pitchblack X Mini using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
2. Connect the OUTPUT jack of the Pitchblack X Mini to your amplifier or the next effect pedal in your signal chain using another 1/4" instrument cable.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Turning On/Off

Press the footswitch to toggle the tuner on or off. When the tuner is active, the display will illuminate and show tuning information. When off, the signal passes through the pedal (True Bypass or Ultra Buffer mode).

6.2 Tuning Modes

The Pitchblack X Mini offers four display modes for tuning. Press the DISPLAY button on the rear of the unit to cycle through them:

• Regular Mode: Standard needle-style display.
• Strobe Mode: Provides ultra-high precision tuning by showing a rotating pattern that stops when the pitch is perfect.
• Half-Strobe Mode: Combines elements of regular and strobe modes for quick and precise tuning.
• Mirror Mode: A unique display that helps visualize pitch deviation.

6.3 Calibration

The standard calibration (A4 pitch) is 440 Hz. To adjust the calibration, press the CALIB button on the rear of the unit. Each press will cycle through available calibration settings. Refer to the display for the current setting.

6.4 Buffer Modes (Ultra Buffer / True Bypass)

The Pitchblack X Mini features a new ULTRA BUFFER circuit to maintain signal integrity over long cable runs. 7. Maintenance
