Auto-Lock Function

The lock can be programmed to automatically lock after a set period (Auto-Lock Timer). This feature ensures your door is always secured after closing.

  • Battery Replacement: The lock uses 4 AAA batteries. Replace them when the low battery alarm sounds.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the keypad and knob with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Weather Resistance: The lock is IP65 weather resistant and designed to operate in extreme temperatures (-22°F to 176°F). However, prolonged exposure to direct heavy rain or extreme conditions may require additional protective measures.
  • USB Backup: In case of complete battery depletion, use a Type-C USB cable to provide temporary power and unlock the door.

Troubleshooting

  • Lock Not Responding: Check battery levels and replace if necessary. Use the USB backup power feature.
  • Incorrect Code Entry: Ensure you are entering the correct user code or Master Code. If using Code Protect, ensure the correct sequence is maintained.
  • Knob Not Turning: Verify the lock is fully disengaged. If in Passage Mode, ensure it hasn't been manually locked.
  • Programming Issues: Double-check the programming commands in the user manual. Ensure the Master Code is correctly entered before programming changes.
  • Reset to Factory Settings: If persistent issues occur, you may need to restore factory settings. Refer to the detailed user manual for this procedure.
