2.2 Key Functions and Features

  • N-Key Rollover: The keyboard features fully conflict-free 61 keys, ensuring accuracy for simultaneous key presses during intense gameplay and fast typing.
  • Multimedia Key Combinations: Utilize Fn key combinations for quick access to multimedia controls (e.g., volume, play/pause). Refer to the keycap legends for specific functions.
  • Win-Lock Function: A dedicated Win-Lock function prevents accidental presses of the Windows key during gaming sessions.
  • Gateron Optical Switches: This keyboard utilizes Gateron Optical switch technology, which registers key presses at the speed of light using optical beam-based actuation. This results in a 15-30% shorter actuation distance (1.0 millimeter) compared to traditional mechanical switches, providing faster response times.
  • Hot-Swappable Design: The keyboard supports hot-swappable Gateron Optical switches, allowing users to easily change switches without soldering.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning the Keyboard

Regular cleaning helps maintain the keyboard's appearance and functionality:

  • Disconnect the keyboard from your computer before cleaning.
  • Use a can of compressed air to blow away dust and debris from between the keycaps.
  • For surface cleaning, gently wipe the keycaps and chassis with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution. Avoid excessive moisture.
  • Do not spray cleaning solutions directly onto the keyboard.

3.2 Keycap and Switch Replacement

Thanks to its hot-swappable design, you can easily replace keycaps and switches:

  • Keycap Removal: Use the provided keycap puller to gently grip and pull keycaps straight up.
  • Switch Removal: Use the provided switch puller to depress the two clips on the top and bottom of the switch, then gently pull the switch straight up.
  • Installation: Align the new keycap or switch with the stem/socket and press down firmly until it clicks into place. Ensure the switch pins are straight before inserting to avoid bending.
