3. Setup and Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your SANODESK Electric Standing Desk. It is recommended to have two people for certain steps due to the size and weight of the components.
- Prepare the Motor: Insert the coupling into the motor, ensuring correct orientation as shown in the installation video.
- Attach Motor to Lifting Column: Secure the motor to the right lifting column. Pay attention to the motor's direction for proper function.
- Install the Crossbeam: Connect the crossbeam between the two lifting columns. Align the protrusions with the holes and secure with screws using the provided Allen wrench.
- Install Support Plates: Attach the support plates to the top of the lifting columns. These will provide stability for the desktop.
- Install Desk Feet: Secure the desk feet to the bottom of each lifting column using the appropriate screws.
- Adjust Crossbeam: Ensure the crossbeam is properly adjusted and tightened to match the desktop width.
- Attach Desktop: Carefully place the whole-piece desktop onto the assembled frame. Align the pre-drilled holes and secure the desktop with screws using a drill (prepared by customer).
- Install Transmission Rod: Insert the transmission rod, connecting the motor to the other lifting column. Tighten the transmission rod nut.
- Install Keypad: Mount the 6-button control keypad to the underside of the desktop in a convenient location using screws.
- Install Hooks: Attach the accessory hooks to the underside of the desktop as desired.
- Connect Wiring: Connect all necessary cables from the motor, keypad, and power supply. Ensure all connections are secure and organized.

4. Operating Instructions
Your SANODESK Electric Standing Desk features an intuitive 6-button control panel for easy height adjustment and memory presets.

- Up/Down Arrows: Use the up (▲) and down (▼) arrow buttons to manually adjust the desk height. The desk moves smoothly and quietly within its range of 28.1 inches to 45.7 inches.
- Memory Presets (1, 2, 3, 4): The 6-button controller includes four memory keys. To set a preset height:
- Adjust the desk to your desired height using the up/down arrows.
- Press and hold one of the numbered memory buttons (1, 2, 3, or 4) until you hear a beep or see the display confirm the setting.
- Sitting/Standing Icons: Some controllers may feature dedicated sitting and standing icons. These typically correspond to pre-programmed comfortable heights for sitting and standing, or can be programmed as memory presets.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your standing desk.
- Cleaning: The desktop and frame surfaces are designed for easy cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth with mild soap to wipe down surfaces. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that could damage the finish.
- Check Connections: Periodically inspect all electrical connections and cables to ensure they are secure and free from damage. Ensure cables are not pinched or tangled, especially during height adjustments.
- Lubrication: The lifting mechanism is designed for maintenance-free operation. Do not attempt to lubricate internal components unless specifically instructed by SANODESK support.
- Weight Limit: Always adhere to the maximum weight recommendation of 176 lbs (80 kg) to prevent damage to the motor and frame.
6. Troubleshooting
