Controls and Indicators:

4. Setup

4.1 Power Connection

The boom box can be powered by AC current or batteries.

AC Power:

1. Ensure the boom box is turned off.
2. Insert the small end of the AC power cord into the AC input jack on the back of the unit.
3. Plug the other end of the AC power cord into a standard AC wall outlet (120V~60Hz).

Battery Power:

For portable use, the unit can operate on 6 x 'C' size batteries (not included).

1. Ensure the boom box is turned off and disconnected from AC power.
2. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom or back of the unit.
3. Insert 6 'C' size batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: When the AC power cord is connected, battery power is automatically disconnected.

4.2 Initial Power On

After connecting power, press the POWER button to turn on the unit. The LED display will illuminate.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 CD Playback

1. Press the FUNCTION button (if available) or switch to select "CD" mode.
2. Open the CD compartment cover.
3. Place a CD (CD-R/RW compatible) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
4. Close the CD compartment cover securely.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback. The track number will appear on the LED display.
6. Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to navigate between tracks.
7. Press the REPEAT button to repeat the current track or all tracks.
8. Press the PROG button to program a sequence of tracks (refer to detailed programming instructions in a full manual if needed).
9. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to pause playback. Press it once more to resume.
10. Press the STOP button (if available, or POWER button to turn off) to stop playback.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Press the FUNCTION button or switch to select "Bluetooth" mode. The LED display may show "BT" or a similar indicator, and the unit will enter pairing mode, often indicated by a flashing light or sound.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "PRCD1037BT" (or similar model name) from the list of found devices.
4. Once paired, the unit will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing.
5. You can now play audio from your device through the boom box. Use the volume controls on both the boom box and your device to adjust the sound level.

Note: The boom box supports A2DP and AVRCP profiles for Bluetooth audio streaming.

5.3 AM/FM Radio Tuning

1. Press the FUNCTION button or switch to select "AM" or "FM" radio mode.
2. Extend the telescopic antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM, rotate the unit for best reception.
3. Use the TUNING knob (if present) or the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to manually scan for radio stations.
4. Adjust the volume to your desired level.

Note: The absence of a digital display for radio frequencies may require careful manual tuning to find desired stations.

5.4 Auxiliary Input

1. Press the FUNCTION button or switch to select "AUX" mode.
2. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input jack on the boom box.
3. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone).
4. Start playback on your external device.
5. Adjust the volume using both the boom box's volume controls and your external device's volume controls.

6.1 Cleaning

• Disconnect the unit from the power source before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces.
