The EJEAS MS8 is an advanced motorcycle helmet Bluetooth intercom system designed for seamless group communication. Featuring new Mesh technology, Bluetooth 5.1, and CVC noise reduction, it provides stable and clear communication for up to 8 riders. This manual will guide you through the installation, operation, and maintenance of your MS8 intercom system.

3. Product Features
3.1. 8-Rider Mesh Intercom
The MS8 utilizes new Mesh technology, allowing up to 8 riders to communicate simultaneously. The maximum connection distance for two units is 1.8 KM, extending to approximately 3.5-7 KM for an 8-person group. The system automatically disconnects or reconnects when riders move in or out of the effective range, ensuring continuous communication.

3.2. Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.1
Equipped with an optimized Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.1 chip, the MS8 offers faster data transmission speeds and a longer, more stable, and reliable connection distance for your communication needs.

3.3. CVC Noise Reduction Technology
The MS8 incorporates advanced CVC (Clear Voice Capture) noise reduction technology to effectively eliminate echo and ambient noise during calls, ensuring crystal clear audio quality even at high speeds.
3.4. 1200mAh Large Battery
A high-capacity 1200mAh rechargeable battery provides extended standby and usage times. The Type-C adapter design supports simultaneous charging and operation, ideal for long rides.
3.5. Multiple Functions
The MS8 includes an FM radio for listening to music and road conditions. It boasts an IP67 waterproof rating, allowing use in rainy conditions. It is compatible with mobile phones, MP3 players, older EJEAS intercom models, and other Bluetooth devices. Features include auto-receiving calls, last phone number redial, voice assistant, and microphone mute function.

4. Setup and Installation
Proper installation ensures optimal performance and comfort. The MS8 is designed to be compatible with most helmet types.
4.1. Mounting the Intercom Unit
There are typically two methods for mounting the MS8 unit to your helmet: a clip mount or an adhesive mount. Choose the method that best suits your helmet and preference.
4.2. Installing Speakers and Microphone
Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets, ensuring they are aligned with your ears for clear audio. Secure the microphone in front of your mouth, typically on the left side, ensuring it is close enough to pick up your voice clearly but not obstructing your vision.
4.3. Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the MS8 unit using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect the cable to the MS8 unit and a standard USB power adapter (DC5V/1A recommended). The indicator light will show charging status.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- Power On: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
5.2. Bluetooth Pairing (with Mobile Phone)
- Ensure the MS8 is powered off.
- Press and hold the Power button for about 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for "EJEAS MS8".
- Select "EJEAS MS8" to connect. Once connected, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.
5.3. Mesh Intercom Operation
The MS8's Mesh Intercom allows for dynamic group communication without traditional pairing.
- Initiating Mesh Intercom: With the unit powered on, press the Mesh button (M button) once. The unit will enter Mesh mode and automatically search for other MS8 units within range to form a group.
- Joining a Group: Simply power on your MS8 and activate Mesh mode. It will automatically join any active Mesh group within range.
- Leaving a Group: Press the Mesh button again to exit Mesh mode.
5.4. Music Playback
- Play/Pause: Press the Power button once.
- Next Track: Press the '+' button.
- Previous Track: Press the '-' button.
- Volume Up: Press and hold the '+' button.
- Volume Down: Press and hold the '-' button.
When in Mesh mode, music will automatically pause when someone speaks and resume after 5 seconds of silence.
5.5. FM Radio
- Turn On/Off FM: Press the FM button (if available, or a combination of buttons as per specific model instructions).
- Scan Channels: Press the '+' or '-' button briefly to scan for the next/previous station.
5.6. Phone Calls
- Answer Call: Press the Power button once.
- End Call: Press the Power button once during a call.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the Power button.
- Activate Voice Assistant: Triple-press the Power button.
- Microphone Mute: Refer to specific button combination in the quick start guide for this function.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, charge the unit regularly, even if not used for extended periods. Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Water Resistance: While IP67 waterproof, avoid submerging the unit in water for prolonged periods. Ensure the Type-C port cover is securely closed.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. Device Does Not Power On
Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the unit to a power source and try again after a few minutes of charging.
7.2. No Sound from Speakers
Check if the speakers are properly connected to the unit. Ensure the volume is not set to minimum. Verify that the unit is connected to the correct audio source (phone, intercom, FM).
7.3. Cannot Pair with Phone/Other Intercoms
Ensure both devices are in pairing mode. Keep devices within close proximity during pairing. If issues persist, try resetting the MS8 unit (refer to the quick start guide for reset procedure) and re-attempt pairing.
7.4. Intercom Range is Short or Connection is Unstable
Ensure there are no major obstructions between units. Check for strong electromagnetic interference. For Mesh Intercom, ensure all units are within the effective range and not too spread out.
