3.3. Using with Roku Players (External Devices)
When using this remote with an external Roku player (e.g., Roku Box, Express, Premiere, Ultra), ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote and the Roku player. Obstructions can block the infrared (IR) signal, preventing the remote from functioning correctly. Do not hide the Roku player behind the TV or inside a cabinet.

Figure 4: When using the remote with a separate Roku Player, maintain a clear line of sight between the remote and the player. Avoid obstructions and ensure the player is not hidden behind the TV or in a cabinet for optimal signal reception.
3.4. Learning Power and Volume Functions (Function 4)
To control your TV's power and volume using the Yimaut remote, you must program these functions from your original TV remote control. This process requires your old TV remote to be functional.
- Ensure both the Yimaut remote and your original TV remote have working batteries.
- Place the Yimaut remote and your original TV remote face-to-face, approximately 1 inch apart.
- On the Yimaut remote, press and hold the Power button until the indicator light begins to flash slowly.
- While the indicator light is flashing, press the Power button on your original TV remote. The Yimaut remote's indicator light should flash rapidly, then turn solid, indicating successful learning.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the Volume Up, Volume Down, and Mute buttons.
- Test the newly programmed buttons to ensure they control your TV as expected.
Note: If you do not have your old TV remote, you will not be able to set up the power and volume buttons on the Yimaut remote.
