Attaching/Detaching the Regular Mouth Seal Converter
The sealer comes with a wide mouth sealing area. To seal regular mouth jars, you need to attach the regular mouth seal converter.
- To Attach: Align the red arrow on the regular mouth seal converter with the unlock symbol on the main unit. Insert the converter into the silicone ring in the wide mouth seal area and twist clockwise until the arrow aligns with the lock symbol. This indicates a successful and secure installation.
- To Detach: Rotate the red arrow on the regular mouth seal converter to the left, aligning it with the unlock symbol. Gently pull the converter away from the main unit.
Operating Instructions
General Sealing Tips
- Ensure the jar rim and lid are clean and dry. Any moisture or food particles can prevent a proper seal.
- Use only flat metal canning lids. Do not use screw bands during the sealing process.
- For best results, press the sealer firmly and horizontally onto the jar lid.
- The recommended vacuuming time is 40 seconds or more for a strong seal.
