5.3. Pairing with a ZigBee Gateway
After wiring and restoring power, the device needs to be paired with your ZigBee 3.0 gateway. Refer to your gateway's instructions for adding new devices. Typically, this involves putting the gateway into pairing mode and then initiating the pairing process on the controller.
To initiate pairing on the controller, you may need to perform a reset (see Section 6.1).
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Device Reset
If the device is not responding or needs to be re-paired, perform one of the following reset procedures:
- Method 1 (Control Button): Press and hold the control button on the device for ten seconds. The reset is complete when the load flashes.
- Method 2 (Power Cycle):
- Turn the power supply to the device OFF and ON within two seconds.
- Repeat Step 1 five times.
- After the device is powered on and Step 2 is completed, the connected load will flash three times and remain on, indicating a successful reset.
6.2. Brightness Adjustment
Once paired with your ZigBee gateway, you can control the brightness of the connected LED lights via the associated smart home application (e.g., Tuya Smart app, SmartThings app) or through voice commands.
