3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to correctly set up your Roland VAD507 drum kit:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from their packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage.
  2. Assemble Stands: Assemble the double-braced chrome stands for the cymbals and toms. Ensure all wing nuts and clamps are securely tightened.
  3. Position Kick Drum: Place the KD-200-MS kick drum pad in your desired playing position. Attach your kick pedal (sold separately) to the kick drum.
  4. Mount Toms: Attach the PDA100-MS and PDA120-MS rack tom pads to their respective stands. Position the PDA140F-MS floor tom pad on its legs. Adjust heights and angles for comfortable playing.
  5. Mount Cymbals: Attach the CY-14C-T and CY-16R-T crash cymbal pads, and the CY-18DR digital ride cymbal pad to their stands. Mount the VH-14D digital hi-hat pad onto a hi-hat stand (sold separately).
  6. Install Snare: Place the PD-140DS digital snare pad onto a snare stand (sold separately).
  7. Position TD-27 Module: Mount the TD-27 sound module to a convenient location on your rack or stand, ensuring easy access to controls.
  8. Connect Cables: Connect each pad and cymbal to the appropriate input on the TD-27 module using the provided cables. Ensure all connections are firm and correctly seated. Connect the power adapter to the TD-27 module and then to a power outlet.
  9. Audio Output: Connect your headphones or an audio system to the TD-27 module's output jacks.
  10. Power On: Turn on the TD-27 module.
